Rubbish defending there, a bad mistake by Dickie, but I’m sure Redprintt will forgive it, or try to pin it on Vyner and/or O’Leary… We haven’t turned up 2nd half.
Sykes was my MOM and Dickie's clearing headers were vital for the win today. Thought McCrorie and Earthy had their best games today and.......Knight was everywhere again today.
Great win. Usual squeaky bum for the final 15 minutes - why do we do that? Anyway, well done Liam and the lads. Great 3 points. We can’t, can we? Surely not - we never do. When will we start fading? West Brom?
Very good 3 points, well done all Teams dropping unlikely points all over the place today Leeds, Sheffield United, West Brom, Coventry, Norwich, Sheffield Wednesday We were winners in more ways than one today !
Redprintt, you confuse a good winner of headers with a good header of the ball. Dickie is the former quite comfortably, the latter not so much for me.
Take nothing away from today, but their number 34 going off changed the game slightly. More of the same Tuesday hopefully
Again deserved the win although we still have a tendency allowing teams back in.. but hey another 3 points and now in the top 6..well done Liam and the team
I can take first half like that any time of the year but why do we continue to try our best to shoot ourselves in the foot during so may of our fixtures? The subs today miffed me because at the tine we were virtually in control and on a good roll so why the hell did Liam sub our better players for poorer ones and that led to us going on the defensive route and we all know that generally leads to a capitulation of the not so brilliant kind leading to lost points? The win was greatly needed and my final thought was that did we watch a game of some of the "easiest misses" during a regular game as both teams were shocking at putting the easy ones in the back of the net. My morning coffee tastes so much better when we are sitting in 6th place in the league and looking forward to another performance like today - and you just never know do you?
The subs were a nod to an important game on Tuesday night. We were 2 up at home and on top, that is the time to rest players. Those who came on just didn’t really get to grips with the game
Tuesday 8th April 2025 the most important game in the championship in a long time. Bristol City FC v WBA let’s sell this out. ⚽️❤️⚽️❤️⚽️❤️⚽️❤️⚽️❤️⚽️❤️⚽️❤️
Yet again we are treading a fine line but this time it is in the right direction for a change of view. The players that came on yesterday almost undid a great first half performance when we looked totally in control and then eased up to play a defensive second half which left all finger nails bitten down to a mere stubs and some hearts working overtime. The games available will run out quickly from this point along with the necessary points to get us to the play-offs and so the mandate has to be to get maximum points from all fixtures and then we have it made in the shade. Three points against another promotion challenger is an absolute must if we are to keep ourselves in the challenging pool clinging to hope and good luck. Do it lads just for the hell of it.
