Hang on Ashton, just now you were saying it's about and ok to have opinions.
Now it's about a fall guy.

I have a different opinion to you, end of.

A bit touchy, I didn’t mention you, Max does take a lot of stick and imo is the fall guy at the moment, along with Tanner, it used to be Zak. It seems to me you protest a bit too much. But what do I know ?

Any player who costs the team goals and who makes errors of judgement will be criticised no matter who they are, or what position they play.

Players make many mistakes every single game, it’s unlikely they’ll be criticised for each and every mistake they make, often other players will cover for them, a keeper makes a mistake it often leads to a goal. For example during the WH game Zak under hit a back pass, Max rushed out and made a saving tackle, several touches later TC rounded the keeper and scored, I didn’t hear too many people criticising Zak’s poor back pass. To say every player who makes errors of judgment is criticised for every mistake is just incorrect.

I noticed you didn’t answer whether we’ve conceded fewer goals, so therefore have one of the best defensive records in the league. Do you disagree with that ?

You would evidence base your point with facts. Facts that do not support the unequivocal point you attempted to clumsily make. Your pants are on the floor again.

I agree but the point I wanted to contribute is as far as I'm concerned the guy is a solid individual, who gives his best, is loyal to the team I support, I don't care if it's wet or dry, cold conditions or a heat wave, windy or calm, if the coach chooses the gk in that player I trust, if he is consistently a poor performer I will be the first person calling for the individual to be dropped, as you can judge, I'm old school ,as old as my tounge and a bit older than my teeth as my old dad used to quote, when I lived in Bishport Green.

Stats has its place in the modern day to fill news headlines and our ongoing appetite for football success or reason for failures, the obvious ones are 3 points per game and final league position, this doesn't answer your point exactly but thats just my opinion.
