Its a real dilemma, one that could be discussed endlessly: when playing Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday, do you keep the same team and risk exhaustion/injury, or do you make changes and risk disrupting the momentum? So far the latter hasnt worked, but either way we're about to see what our teams made of in this second half COYH!!
I'd say, rollocking at half time, give them 15 mins to get back into it or use the subs. But then again I've never been a football manager.
"Watford need to step up a gear" "City have used the wind that was in their favour first half. Their defence looks very brittle and it is not difficult to see why they have not kept a clean sheet."
Second half underway. Lots of good passing from Watford....no way through the massed ranks of defenders.
Hogg shoots... keeper saves. Watford passing and passing.....then they make a poor one and it all has to start again.
Well, that's my tax return done can now concentrate on the football, but id doesn't sound very good. I am not in favour of 6 changes.
"This is like a training session, attack v defence." Baldock has a great chance and puts it over the bar.
Ekstrand shoots and hits Deeney. Could have been going in. City win a corner.....defence nods off and Anderson stabs it in.
