Won 1 Drawn 2 LOST 3 gd = -2 ... = scored per game = 1 and conceeded = 1.34 so inferior! both had to start with a squad they hadnt managed in a championship game although NP ....... DID HAVE EXISTING +NEW+GAMES WITH SOME BEFORE LM ... Won 1 Drawn 2 LOST 3 gd = -2 ... = scored per game = 1 and conceeded = 1.34 === points gained = 5 == 0.83 NP .. Won 2 drew 3 lost 1 = gd ..... GF 5 and Ga = 5 ====== points gained 9 == 1.5 [ at time of leaving was 1.4 ]
We also have to look at who we played in those games. So far Liams first few games have been a lot tougher than the last few games under Nige and Curtis, so not an apples for apples comparison.
That is but a small picture within the bigger picture NP lost top players in first few games whilst LM gained a couple who had been out under NP SO YEP APPLES V APPLES !!!! but the availability and the sequences are similar NP MAINTAINED the sequence ... LM well he had BETTER NOT! TC booked in first 2 mins ..... dickhead!
Why do we still think we are able to start our push forward with dicey passing around the edge of our own penalty area? Dangerous game to play because that's when either Zak or Max will make a goof.
Now that's a cert penalty for us and here we are up 1-0 against the run of play. Strange that Sunderland fell afoul of what I just said was a dangerous game to play.
Rob Dickie is the mistake prone player out there today and he needs to shape up and get back on course.
Right on supcon as you say we have improved since our goal but the danger signs are there at the back when Sunderland get up to speed. When we are in deep defending mode with 8 or 9 around our penalty area we have nobody able to use a quick break, and so back it comes again. Anyway I'll take a 1-0 half-time lead any day but we need to focus on the basics if we want all 3 points.
Decent first half-they look dangerous up front there NO 10 looks decent. Causing all sorts of problems.
As was expected they have come out like gang busters after the restart and we have to be at our best. Mistakes coming out of defence will kill us unless we pay more attention.
Sunderland have really turned the screw on us and we are struggling. They are winning all of the 50/50 balls and we lack precision and good decision making.
