Good half for us, but with the chances and possession, we should have some goals under our belt.. might come back and bite us. I find our pressing better with Conway, Wells and Weimann playing in the same side.. Scott having a cracker but has to be careful with his yellow card..

Knew it. Tanner gets sucked into the middle and almost challenges Vyner, and subsequently leaves a man unmarked. Has to do better than that
All in all, we are unlucky to be a goal down, we’ve hit the bar, the post and theirs should have been ruled offside
If we had VAR tonight we wouldn’t be a goal Down, and they would be down to 10 me after that challenge on Williams

Horror challenge, no qualms here with that red card, he should get 2 for it tbh. Challenges like that can end careers.
We can break down this game, and many many others, and we'll end up with the same result which is commonly a loss. To me the simple answer is that we just don't have what it takes to win games like tonight and versus Swansea on the weekend. Something dictates that we don't even get the scraps like decent refereeing and having players that can actually use a free kick or corner to get a result. Pouring rain can't be used as an excuse because it hampers both sides equally but we seem to come up on the short end yet again. Killer instinct, or lack thereof, has just been used by the commentator and that sums it up in a nutshell for this and lots of other games. Piss poor pass yet again and that's not what we need at any time especially as we have been doing the same all season. Wet paper bag comes to mind. Shocking tackle by Tanner for a red card and that puts more ****e on a bad night.
Let’s not get to down beat here, we played really well, far far better than in any of our last 8 games for my money. It didn’t happen tonight. I guarantee we play worse than that and win many times during the rest of the season.
Agree with that.. As a performance, it was up there.. offside goal and the woodwork cost us.. That compared to the first half v Brum.. chalk & cheese.. Dropping so many points is a concern though..
