Bloody mistakes are killing us and Dickie has now been sent off after hauling down their player. Why do we continue to have a sub par goalkeeper backing up a mistake prone rest of the squad. P.S. Agreed about Dickie messing around but the game changed with O'leary's complete b*lls up. And was Mehmeti wrong side of their scorer for their winner ?
Armstrong has no ball skills at all and one day Mehemeti will not show up and you might find him somewhere inside his back end. I knew that today's match was critical on many fronts including our unbeaten streak and playing against a strong well disciplined squad added another flavour to the dynamics. To lose it in stereotypical Bristol City fashion has left me sad that we never seem capable of solving even the simplest of issues whether it be in regard to positional play and the usual suspects when it comes to making us better. I was so hoping I would see us in the promotion zone, and we were for a very small amount of time, and so this loss showed why we are destined to wander the wilderness for years to come. It was a total calamity in the couple of minutes that preceded it. We lost our heads. So disappointing. I thought Sheff Utd were awful.
He punched the ball, god knows why it was a simple catch, not a big fan of him but he’s a decent keeper, he’s all we have and we don’t have a decent back up which is concerning. we had 3 points in the bag and two silly mistakes cost us tonight, only ourselves to blame as we were all over the place the last 10 minutes. Armstrong and Mayulu seem like a waste of money too.
