ASHTON GATE STADIUM 3:00PM

Another tough game against a side that has improved on last season unbeaten in their last five games and sitting in 10th spot on eleven points.

City sitting in 5th with 2 points more.

City will need to be in good form to take three points and that i believe they will.

Hopefully no major injury issues and we can put out the first eleven that started against ipswich midweek.
Clearly we can all see how weak we are when the likes of Riss-Atkinson-Mcrorie come off the pitch.

I am going 3-1 Bristol City as i believe ipswich are a different level to qpr.

Not been as good as hoped”: Bristol City vs QPR predictions
The72’s writers offer their Bristol City vs QPR predictions ahead of the Championship clash on Saturday afternoon.
QPR make the trip to Bristol to face Bristol City this weekend as they look to continue their five-game unbeaten run.
“As for Bristol City, the early signs under Struber have been largely very good. They do desperately need a win though to stop this recent slump from the Robins.

“With that said, I think this will end in another draw for both. Both sides have a lot of quality, and it could prove to be a very good game at Ashton Gate.”

Prediction: Bristol City 1-1 QPR

James Ray

“The midweek fixtures brought draws for both Bristol City and QPR. The latter will feel the more frustrated by their tie, especially knowing they’re in for a tough one here.

“Ashton Gate has been a tough place to go in recent times but in the early stages of the campaign, they it has not been as good as hoped on home turf.

“The R’s have shown they can be got at, and if the Robins are at their best, they can punish the visitors.

“With QPR unbeaten in five though, I think they’re good value for a point here. I’ll go for an entertaining draw.”

Prediction: Bristol City 2-2 QPR

I recently commented how nice it would be to have one or two of our past scorers in the team right now and if you were fortunate enough to see Antoine Semenyo's 2 wonder goals then you know what I mean - absolutely world class Antoine. :emoticon-0137-clapp:emoticon-0148-yes: Getting back to the tread, this is exactly one of those games we generally fail to win and QPR's stats say they are a difficult team to corrall, however we have this dreadful history of falling at home in a game that could influence our early season in a negative way. I have a feeling it will be a tight game with a victory by a single goal and although I hope it is City who come out on top and by saying that I might have induced a rout for someone and again I hope it's not us.

WHAT THE HECK HAS THE BEEB GOT THE TEAM AS .............

Very poor today against an average side and we paid the price of apathy by losing yet another vital 3 points at Ashton Gate. Two away draws and two home losses will probably never make a champion out of a sow's ear, and to only get 2 points from 12 is disgraceful I reckon. We have gone back to the old days of uncommitted football which goes nowhere because we don't have the players to create a dynamic force and you can't expect that success with the squad that we have available I'm afraid. <doh>

On holiday in the US, so don’t see the game, although I didn’t need to as it’s an all too familiar story. The longer Strubher persists with Twine starting and Armstrong off the bench, the less well we will do this season.

Bloody awful waste of 2 hours.
It was mind numbing to watch.
Struberball has morphed into Manningball.

Tbf our quality all over most of the pitch is shocking although I absolve Atkinson, Vitek and Randell from criticism.
The misses from Twine, McCrorie and Yu had to be seen to be believed.

Losing our way again fast
But with the injuries we have and the frankly lack of talent up front I’m not surprised we’re now failing
It’s times like this I wish Lansdown would sell the club, even to Arabs as it can’t be much more soul destroying than this ?
Can it ?
