Sloppy sloppy gets them a goal and the banana skin is well and truly a danger. On a single attack they take a 1-0 lead. Now we have an uphill task against a team fighting for survival and we need to wake up if we want anything from this supposedly easy game.
Oh dear, we need a second half like the one against Southampton. Let’s get Sykes and Twine on and let’s start opening them up. COYR
We haven’t been able to deal with crap sides since Cotts - and that was League 1. We haven’t been able to enforce our dominance over struggling Championship sides since the GJ days. It’s a disease…
A disappointing half when we looked early on as if we could boss the game but then we got complacent and gave away their goal. Liam needs to read the riot act to get us back on track and how shameful it would be not to build positively on 2 massive performances by losing a supposedly certain win. Our lack of firepower up front is one of our biggest detriments and until we find a consistent scorer we will continue to struggle in matches like this one.
Our home performances over many years have been our nemesis in regard to building a team that can really compete and unless we overcome that pitfall we won't improve.
How many seasons have we been saying exactly the same thing Ashton? Perhaps we will wake up and go on to win but we can't give them the next goal, or else!
More seasons than I care to remember, if Liam can sort that out we’ll be laughing, and I’ll be converted
We are floundering again and unless we are careful we could let this go the wrong way. Subs (3) being prepared and let's see if it they make a difference.
The usual inconsistency is our downfall again unless we can turn things around in the next 30 or so minutes Frustrating Very frustrating !
There are times when I look at the decisions and passing and wonder why we are so bad and that sums up a lot of our play in a nutshell.
No flow to our game whatsoever.. wrong decision making, dreadful passing, second to the ball.. chalk and cheese to how we were v Soton
