Sounds like the same old issues Professional sportsman who can’t provide a simple pass to a team mate
Underwhelming to say the least.. I expected a lot better if I’m honest.. Zak being one of best players says it all.. Preston deserved at least a point with their 2nd half performance.. Our players didn’t quite gel for me.
There was nothing on display out there today that told me we have improved over the last few seasons. The constant ability to fail at the last fence is typical Bristol City and it's very frustrating to watch knowing the inevitable that is coming late in the game. Zak was my top player today and despite his improvement out team lacks punch right across the pitch which looks much the same as before this season's kick-off. Our home performances are critical and our consistent habit of giving away vital points will never get us towards the top of the table as we all want and really have the right to expect.
For all those who predicted 3-0 wins it’s a wake up call No game is easy at this level but as the seasons go by we NEVER seem to be able to see games out Disappointed but not in the least bit surprised at the result or performance
I’ve been watching Soccer Saturday on Sky this afternoon and they’ve spent more time cooing about L2 with Wrexham and their Hollywood owners than us, Middlesbrough, Norwich and co Pathetic After a good home hiding by MK Dons maybe they’ll think twice next week Everything in proportion by all means but this was well ott
Not gloating at all with our game to come tomorrow, but I could see that coming for you today..................... please log in to view this image
Disappointing, but it takes a few games to ‘settle’. I’m not panicking after 1 game in appalling conditions which we didn’t lose.
Well that was not very impressive. Preston were well organised and deserved the draw. They looked good going forward. Vyner was man of the match for me. Thought the midfield was poor and attack first half not clicking. Plenty to improve on-Night got better as the game went on.prefered the front players with Conway and Sykes playing. Nige has plenty to think about.
