An opening day injury to Weimann is not what we wanted and let's hope it's not too serious and/or an omen for the season.

 

20+ minutes in, all a bit underwhelming from both sides.. Williams coming on for Weimann not sure why..

My feed on Robins TV has frozen but from what I have seen in the first 45 minutes has not impressed me at all. Same old boring stuff and although I will accept it is the first game of the real season I still see Max flapping at air with his distribution seriously questionable again. Nothing up front has clicked and we could be one defensive slip away from an opening day loss, unless Nigel has some better aces up his halftime sleeve. Feed is back.

Very poor fare from both sides in that first-half. I think the fluffed chance from Bell was the only attempt at goal from either side. Not an impressive start so far!!

Now that the game has sped up we look more vulnerable and PNE have just hit the post after we were left scrambling.

 

Getting outplayed here, I see an equaliser coming…

 

Too many of our passes are short of the mark allowing PNE to take the ball back.

 

I know it’s first game of the season and all that, but the players aren’t gelling as much as I hoped. Can’t fault the work rate and commitment.. if we can hold on to the win!!
