I thought their fans were funny. They even cheered with us when the fourth went in. But the funniest bit was after one minute they chanted “we are drawing away, how **** must you be, we are drawing away” And they even sang “Plymouth get battered every where they go”
At halftime yesterday I thought here we go again and bemoaned the fact that we can't score goals. After the break and my morning coffee it became a totally different scenario and we, including the goal monster Mehmeti, went on a rampage against what was a very poor Argyle side. To say we played better in the second half would be a huge understatement and we stroked the ball around like we knew what we were doing. Well done Liam and the boys for an exciting game that just kept on getting better by the minute. A major shout to Mehmeti for his quality and I thought for lunch today I would have some humble pie.
never thought i would feel sympathy for rooney, love him or hate him you could never doubt his effort and commitment as a player, he looks for the same from this argyle squad and it just aint there,in front of nigh on 3,000 travelling fans thats just bloody shamefull,
Ahhh we moved out of the A block two years ago sat in the same seat over there for 22 years lots moved out when the kids were trying to get in the section-sat in comfort now -much better should of been following city in the old first division days-east end-park end-enclosure all sang-today the atmosphere is shocking.
Ashton Gate needs to be a cauldron of noise but from my seat about 6500 km away the silence is deafening.
