After having a good spell with chances for both Armstrong and Mehmeti who could have scored we go down 0-1 to a sloppy defensive move. About par for us and we need to polish our shooting boots if we want anything from this match. We are really starting to look hapless and disorganized across the field.

Here we go again after a half where we made more than enough chances to be on the scoreboard but we missed them all from Mehmeti and Armstrong who were both just off target. When I look at the players for Oxford I see players that are way better than some of ours and Dembele is taunting our defence with power and skill and I wonder why we can't find that kind of player who clearly can play the game and has hunger all the time. The new players we tend to bring in constantly fail to meet the standard and why on earth we continue to support players who have never achieved is beyond my comprehension. At the half I have witnessed another inept performance that takes us into the dressing room on a losing scoreline and I wonder what on earth Liam will say to boost this lot into life.
