A 4-2-3-1 with Martin up top on his own doesn't work...FFS!! We play long balls, and when he wins them and flicks it on, nobody is there unless AW is busting a gut to get there. Play Wells up top and move the ball to feet is the way to play this formation with the players we have. I admit Wells has been poor, but he's not being used correctly or to his strengths so far by NP.

Different form for Forest since Houghton departed and with our confidence at home, could be another struggle.
Having said that, we have Massengo back in and it is Bristol City, so anything can happen.......it's a game I believe, we can't afford to lose..

With 1For on this one, especially about the return of Massengo but I do have defensive worries about DaSilva.

School night so Grandad will be there tonight.

there is 10 teams that are +/- 3pts of city, above them is

Reading ... [ who play BPool
QPR ... [who play Blackburn ]
    Blackburn .. [at QPR ]
    Luton .................................................... [ at Derby ]

    BELOW them is ...

    Middsbro .............................................. [ play Barnsley ]
Sheffield ... [ who play Millwall
    Millwall .. [ at Sheff ]
    BPool ... [ at Reading ]
    Florest ... [ at CITY ]
    Swansea .............................................. [ play WBA ]

4 games are against each other 3 play teams out of the box

Best Scenario CITY WIN...... Blackpool win WBA WIN... & SHEFF , MIDDS and LUTON ............ DRAW.....

HOWEVER present climate of form .. we end up in 16th position. I am going to a private art showing pre exhibition, from 7.30 till 10pm so wont get the result till later, hope it is a good one .... on both accounts!

JGF - your lifestyle leaves me breathless.

Between 7.30 till 10pm I'll be slumped in my Ekornes Stressless with feet up on separate footstool holding a glass of Tallisker Skye. <ok>

One day that statement WILL be true.
I wonder which club will suffer the humiliation of breaking our duck?
    I’m afraid I can’t see it being in-form Forest…..

Is there anywhere you haven't been?

To answer your question - I thought there was only one. Talisker Skye single malt - distilled by the sea. (I'm sure you'll tell me different)

    What the managers are saying
Nigel Pearson: "I want us to control possession a lot better because we didn't hit the levels we are capable of against Bournemouth. We were disjointed and beaten by a very good side on the day. We need to compete much better against Nottingham Forest.

"I don't think we can have too many complaints because we come into this new fixture after playing against the best side we have faced so far this season.

"It's difficult to judge our performance from Saturday because it was like playing against a Premier League team, but now we need a response."

Steve Cooper: "I am not looking that far ahead (play-offs), it would be foolish to do that. Only a few weeks ago it was the other end of the table, wasn’t it?

"We will look at Bristol City and Fulham and ways to build on what has gone before. You do not look back, you always look forward – that is how you get stronger. There will be ups and downs, we know that. But we are obsessed with keeping this going."

there is more than one, at least 3, I got a prompt by your comment TALISKER so checked back through my diaries and log books in 2009 did a week on the island and went around the whole coast .. shopped in Somerfield PORTREE and visited 2 old ruin castles, 3 distilleries [ not tours, just to get flyers ] and stayed 4 nights at glen brittle camp site to walk some of the ridges .. dont drink whiskey well didnt from 1964 to july 2015 a double, and again in 2019 [ then only a small one .. neat] .. there is a small shop near one of the distilleries that do fantastic meat pies ... bought one, driving along ate it ..turned around and went back bought 5 more!
Along with friends have visited about a dozen or more Distilleries I go past a couple everytime I go up one, Dalwhinnie have passed about 50 times ... never visited!

Ahh, Dalwhinnies Winter Gold.............. slightly smoother and a little less "peaty" than the the Talisker - probably my second favourite.

Go to Islay sometime. At least 9 distilleries there (Bowmore, Ardbeg, Laphroaig, et al) and the Port Charlotte Hotel which has a whisky menu of at least 250 different drams!!
