Wow that was as good a performance as I have seen in years-Every player gave 100%
We desperately need that big strong centre forward with pace-strength and goals.
It has cost us big time this season.
I really believe we could be top six with the missing piece in the jigsaw.
Manning clearly see it -fans clearly see it hopefully the Lansdowns can see it.
Need to pull all the stops out to get him in before next week.Loan or permanent.

We didn’t create a lot though RR, I can’t think
Of one chance a different striker would have scored. We are good in possession but too slow and ponderous going forward. It’s early days for Manning so we obviously need to give him time to get the attacking element right.

 

Always use the one I posted earlier in this thread mate. It’s a good one.

 

Thought Zak was gonna get a nose bleed at one stage..great run.
It was a good performance by the team and nobody can say that Max didn't come off his line. In particular I thought McCorie, Zak and Pring had a decent game..
We just lack that final bit of quality to go on and burst the net....IMO it doesn't need to be a big No9 but one that's got desire and drive that's willing to have a go..

 

I’m sure they’ll produce some stat that shows Max was crap. Zak in particular I thought was outstanding, that run was class.

 

I thought Max had a steady solid game. No brilliance but commanded his box well.

Don’t think it’s a striker and more someone who can give the final delivery to the box.
I love Cam Pring, but sometimes it’s his final ball. But that can be worked on. But downside if his final delivery was there then he won’t be here.
McCorie like Tom said is great, and when fully fit going to be a great bargain. Put him where Tanner is (nothing against George he’s come on leaps and bounds with McCorie in front of him)
What we missed last night was Sykes. A front three of Sykes Twine and Tommy is going to a great trio.

 

Think sykes and Twine will be excellent get the 9 wow anything is possible.

The way both sides played defensively was pretty mean...... some very good build up's but defenses did their jobs ... was a bit worried with Max out of his area so many times!?

 

Stats were mentioned the other day..
Check out Ipswich v Maidstone.. in that instance they meant nothing apart from the two shots from Maidstone!!!

 

Modern way. if their playing higher he will have to be wont he? unless we can find a Des Walker so he can stay at home by the sticks.
