I’ve watched highlights of every round of matches in the Championship so far this season and despite our injuries, we’re simply not capable of being a top 10 team
When you watch the likes of Ipswich, Leeds, Sunderland, Leicester and co they are relentless, they fight, they play every match like they’ll be dropped if they don’t perform
And they score hatfuls of goals
We’re a million miles away from being contenders in my humble opinion

I won't criticise LM like I did Junior. The massive mistake was sacking Pearson, I feel sorry for LM.
The current scenario smacks of history repeating itself.
The majority of City fans didn't want Pearson sacked like the majority didn't want Junior appointed.

JL and Tinnion have split the fan base again and placed LM under unnecessary pressure.

Well people let me just say social media is in meltdown.

BrianTinnion has closed his twitter account.

Fans have said that LM is out of his depth at championship level.

    Many saying sack him.

Blimy I ain’t gone that far but the fanbase ain’t happy.

Don’t blame NP for LM team and play.
Today was shocking in every way.
Players are a fraction of what they were under Pearson.
This is JL and BT appointment not started to well.

Tanner was partly to blame for his own goal by bad positioning but the biggest problem is further in front of him with our central players. I also watched Tanner's game today and as yet he is not up to this level of football so I reckon he's only ready for the bench or transfer out of here, as we are carrying way too much dead weight. I have just seen some other quotes on here about the tenure of Liam and if he was indeed hired after just one day of discussion then, yet again, Lansdown has got exactly what he deserves which is another not up to the task. That may sound harsh after just a few games but he has no experience in any capacity of working at Championship level. I don't think we even discussed the job with any other candidates and I would expect that anyone decent would run for the hills rather than get sent to Ashton Gate where everything football goes to rot. Another shameful decision by those who should, but don't, know better. :headbang:

    Where have we improved?
You could extend that back to when LJ was in charge.
On the pitch we haven’t improved. We are treading water.
Having said that, LM is working with someone else’s players and has only had 4 games.

    - and our wages bill is smaller so we should all celebrate apparently….

The squad is top 6 according to SL & BT, the previous manager was underachieving that’s why he was sacked, they brought the new manager in to achieve this season what apparently the previous one couldn’t. That’s the objective this season, or else why bother changing things surely.

The truth is the squad isn’t top 6, in fact NP was overachieving with the squad, particularly with the level of injuries we had, imo the level of injuries are in part a consequence of having too small a squad, which means we are unable to rotate sufficiently.

The other truth is getting rid of NP had very little to do with our performance this season, the board merely used it as an excuse as they wanted rid of Nige. That was made obvious by the timing of the sacking and the way it was handled. The top 6 thing was the boards way of trying to justify their decision. Now it’s backfiring though because the lack of quality of the squad is being laid bare now we have an inexperienced manager having to try to manage the same squad of players, and so far, failing. Unless he can turn things around quickly things could go from bad to worse.

NP and JL did not get on-Nige clearly told JL a few home truths that did not go down to well.
Unfortunately the owners son was always going to come out on top.
LM has no experience at this level -Nigel had loads.
As said I think LM is going to need to strap up as things could get bumpy between now and January

Our owners have let us all down badly again and I get the feeling they couldn't give a rat's arse about the supporters. LM is way out of his depth but he probably says yes very well, but in all honesty I think he has been given an almost impossible task without a thought as to his inexperience which means he will be sacrificed mercilessly any time in the next 2 years. Nothing will happen in the January sales for us, which is very rare (lol), and the new revised cheapest plan for success will probably be issued in May explaining all the wrong moves the board have taken and asking us to be patient. Wrong move sacking Pearson before the end of the season followed by another wrong move in hiring a totally inexperienced man to replace him, and the worst move was treating us like a load of mushrooms enjoying the smell. Sorry Liam but now you can see what trash you have inherited and in about 3 months you could discover that all of the bull mess you were fed during the 5 minute job interview won't happen. Sad times.

Being successful is difficult enough, having to navigate JL’s insecurities shouldn’t be part of the equation, he should be big enough to withstand criticism, especially it doing so would increase our chances of success. Don’t get me wrong financially the Lansdown’s have been amazingly supportive, but in terms of football success we’ve had very little. At some point surely they must realise they need help and BT isn’t the answer. Nor is trying to hoodwink the supporters like they did with Nige. The mess we are in now is completely the consequence of JL and BT.
My concerns aren’t for NP, but for our football club. We need people in charge who understand football and how to run a business, JL and BT aren’t equipped to do either.

I think the players we have are decent enough to keep us up this year. I DO NOT want to see Manning being given money in January, because from what I saw today on stream was tactics that will lead to him being sacked before seasons end. Which means a new manager will come in and need to unload all of Mannings signings. The same thing we see in football time and time again with these clueless, panicky owners.

At least with NP, he had stripped the team back to bare bones of players he thought could do him a job and we were going to finally start seeing what he could do. With Manning I feel like we’re back to square one where he wants a style of football that he doesn’t have the players for, does what LJ did after SC, which is rack up a huge wage bill and expenditure that we are only just getting over, then he’ll get the boot and we bring in someone new to cleanup up the expenditure before they can start building for themselves. But won’t be given time to do that before they are booted.

We have a great youth program, excellent, that could get even better if it went European and we pulled 12/13 year old talent in from overseas that we homed, nurtured and educated. Then in 10 years we’d look like a Brighton.
