Thoroughly enjoyed that. Most of all I enjoyed that after they bullied us from being 2-0 up to go 3-2 down, we reset and went again, we showed real character. I have to say that’s the most threat we’ve shown going forward for years. Well done lads.
Where we were sat Dolman E31 central, the penalty looked harsh, haven’t seen it since, Manning didn’t seem to think so from his RB post match comment. what are your opinions, Penalty or not ? edit Just seen a replay, it hit Tanner on the chest!!
Referees make mistakes. Players make mistakes. Fans make mistakes. It’s a thankless task refereeing - and you can’t be seen to dither on a decision or the players will tear you apart. He got that one wrong - fair play to the guy for admitting it and in this case no harm done. It does raise the old question of VAR for the Championship, yes or no? I say yes but plenty of people will say no.
Clear and obvious with no second chances is the mandate for the ref. So he bottled one but overall I thought he was pretty much spot on.
Not for me especially after the balls ups they often make in the Prem even with the luxury of video replays, yet they still get key decisions wrong
Look, Sykes and Mehmeti aren't the worst we've seen at AG. They flatter to deceive but rarely an end product. Up to now they've been as good as we have but now it's different. They aren't on the same quality page as Earthy and Twine and I'll bet Yu will be better as well. Over to you Mr Manning.
