Max comes for a cross, no idea why, fumbled and defenders all over the place. 2-1 Millwall.
    Defending is absolutely dreadful

First 3 minutes it looked promising, since then it’s been bloody dire.. what a shambles we are..
Our passing, our ability to create chances, our desire to have a go..has been fecking dreadful.. lumping it around without any ideas..
Millwall awarded a penalty, saved by Max..
    FT 2-1 Millwall..
    Shocking.. 1 win in 7.. 4 points from 21

It doesn’t matter what formation you play if you can’t defend set pieces.

As defenders themselves in their playing days, you’d think that Nige and Fleming would have an impenetrable defence for the team at the top of their list
If you don’t concede, you won’t lose

I think we are all used to knowing our defending is dire and unlikely to get better, but today, going forward we looked awful..
Our passing, creativity and finishing was as bad as I've seen it.. Semenyo (plays far too deep) & Weimann looked like strangers, Conway had hardly any service....we just could not get going, even though in the first few minutes we looked dangerous....As soon as Millwall had one chance, we fell apart..
On that showing and with most performances over the last 7 games, a relegation battle could be on the cards....it was that bad..

Watched Superpets at the Vue yesterday with the grandchildren. I fell asleep in the 'trailers'.
My boy watched the game and reckons he's never seen a City side pass as bad as yesterday.
