Never been a Watkins fan, but his extra height and challenging has taken some pressure off Diedhui so he seems to be playing better as well. Enjoyed that first half.
Good result but let's not forget they are the bottom side, still pressure lifted up to 8th place, well done LJ and the team, onward to Brentford.
A welcome wake up call for me and now I can enjoy my morning cup of coffee. Well done so let's keep it going EH!
Well said Wiz, unlike some on here, I didn’t get carried away when we lost 4 on the bounce, and I won’t with this win either. It’s a very tops turvey division, and as you say they are the bottom side.
You can only beat what is put in front of you-but Luton look a very poor side. Not sure if we were good or was it Luton not giving us a game.Brentford will be a different animal Wednesday.Thought Desilva,Ellison,Fammy and Watkins had excellent games.
Sorry, Fammy doesn’t cut it for me. His touch is horrible, and a penalty at home against the bottom side in the division is not enough!,
Have to agree with this. Didn’t think we were outstanding but did a good job on a poor opponent. Workmanlike is how I would describe it. The real test comes against Brentford. At least a point in that game, preferably 3 of course, will set us up for the games to come. A couple of those, at least, will be testing. But who thought WBA would lose today?
How many of you out there truly believe that LJ will do a great job in the transfer window and take us to the play-offs?
