It looks like the stream on Sports 10 is by Leeds United rather than an independent commentary channel. I gather it is on Sky over there which means DAZN over here and I won't subscribe to them now they don't have Prem football. It will probably slightly biased commentary and it will be interesting to hear what they have to say about us being clobbers according to Moyes.
A bad decision by Tanner almost cost us the first goal when he decided to turn back towards his own goal and the Leeds forward just took it away but they did not take advantage of our error. Max helped Tanner out on this occasion. When you constantly pass the ball back and across just outside of your own penalty area you are setting up possible disasters and we just don't learn the lesson at our peril.
Leeds are starting to show their class and are taking us on with zest going forward and to be honest they should probably have a 2 goal lead but Max came up with the goods.
When you are the last defender and you try and turn to get the ball past the oncoming player you have created a possible turnover, or worse. Tanner did exactly that but adding in that he had quite a bit of time to get rid of the ball but he decided not to do it and the first goal almost went against us.
City's passing so far tonight has been absolutely atrocious and if we keep up this poor play we could get beaten to the ball by a Leeds United who look well up to the task and more than capable of scoring a few goals. They should have scored just now but good fortune kept us in the game but regrettably I see only a bad loss and when we need 9 players back in our crowded penalty how on earth can we create anything up front?
love it commy constantly yakking on about being 2 or 3 ahead BCFC VERY LUCKY!!!!!!!!. TRUTH IS they have managed 3 shots on target and all been saved.. we had ??? on target but beeb says nil! I suppose hitting our own player smack bang in front of goal dont count!
That mistake by Tanner changed the momentum of the game, Tanner, Williams and James poor, we are struggling to know when to play out and when to go long!
We are very lucky going into half-time not to be 2-3-4 down based on their chances compared to ours and overall we looked weak against a squad that know how to play flowing football to their full advantage. City will generally struggle playing teams that are well organized and do not make mistakes all over the pitch like us and tonight we are up against one of those teams and will do well to come away with any points. Having said that let's hope it's one of nights when nothing goes right with our opponents and we can hold on for a single point but I'm saying we have to do better than we did in the first 45 minutes or tongues may start wagging and boos may be heard.
Agree lucky to go in level, it’s up to us to change things second half. On a different point it wasn’t a pen in my opinion, he’d no need to go down, stay on his feet and he scores.
Should that Tanner tackle been a penalty? Knobs on the panel seem to think so, but one of the views showed during the game showed Tanner just about getting a toe on it.. so for me, no pen and good decision by ref
Their quality is light years better than ours. Saying that our terrible passing Vyner, Max and Dickie have contributed to our problems. Supcon's mate Tanner is having a mare, their guy luckily hit it straight at Max and then how Tanner's tackle wasn't a penalty, I'll never know. VAR and it's a definite penalty and McCrorie's wild hack that caught their player would have been a minimum yellow. Their quality is a massive difference, nothing seems to stick, we're also fighting just to control the ball. Interesting how Manning can change this.
