Nah! I've broken lots of noses and had mine broken lots of times (head fist and foot clashes in rugby) with varying degrees of gore. Often none at all.

Some of these players get what they ask for and in my view Taylor was asking for it.
Be a long time before he sticks his face into someone's face.

Seen loads of players squaring up before and all usually results in a few shoving and pushes, headbutting the guy was out of order, but we'll see what happens with the appeal

 

Funny that, I watched the clip & your player clearly at fault. He attacked our player aggressively, tried to head-but & came unstuck as Bera dipped his head before being struck. That's how it appeared to me. He was the instigator & shot himself in the foot by making himself the victim too. We should be appealing our red.

We know a bit about head-buts in Glasgow. 2 ways of breaking a nose - dipping your head when attacked, or 'launching'. Berra had his feet planted, so didn't launch. He's also quite a bit smaller than your thug.

Btw, your other thug should have been sent off too. Clear red card for lifting his hands to Bera. Don't know who he is, but even your #8 was trying to stop him.

My view is that the dirty prat Bristol team were getting rattled so were kicking out, pulling shirts, 2 went over the top & could have been sent off but only 1 got booked. The Berra incident was the Bristol player goes for Berra who had his arms away from his body to show he was doing nothing, but the player goes in to stick the head in, Berra dips his head to protect his face as he was cut recently. To be fair from some of the footage I've seen they often missed out the squaring up stage

E defensive Midfielders worked a treat and although I was surprised we had no Klich even on the bench, Viera bossed the game and was MOM for me. Cant complain about anything when Tommy gets results like that. It shows great depth for me as Pontus, Klich, Pablo, Anita, Sacko, Dallas, Roofe were not selected. We also have Grot, Cibicki, CBJ & Ekuban not playing.

 

I agree. And I'd agree if it was the other way round. I'm trying not to be biased here. Clear as day to me. Ref made a shocking decision based on supposition.
