So what's changed last couple of weeks. Back to conceding late goals and typically an ex player. Mick better be kicking their arses in there now. Big points lost and the battle starts again to get away from the bottom.

I still to this day don't understand how Martin gets to play every week. he has to be one of the worst wingers ever.
Mick, instead of keep messing about with the strikers how about you switch it up a bit on the wings. It wouldn't really matter who's up front if they don't get the ball.

Warky, no silver linning taday, that is a bad loss, we had chance after chance to win that game & we have thrown it away.

Mick has now got to shake things up, edwards needs to be dropped, yet again today he was poor, has been for weeks.

We need some new arrivals this week or it is gonna be squeaky bum time from now till the end of the season

Shock Horror! I am going to make my first criticism of Mick regarding his starting line up.

He should have started with Chopra <ok> His goal scoring record against Brizzle is just outstanding! I dpn't know whether these off field problems come into it but Mick should have started with Chopra.

This is now a huge week in the history of this club and we are now absolutely desperate for a goal scorer and a creatitive midfielder! If Evans doesn't back Mick in this window we are ****ed i'm afraid!

Yes I still have 100% belief in Mick but he has now got to be backed in the transfer window!

Just a footnote I notice that DJ hasn't been snapped up yet?

Purely playing devils advocate here, I think the silver lining is that we did, in fact, have 'chance after chance to win the game'

... the problem is that we just didn't take those chances! I hope it just takes a couple of extra players to really give the team that extra spark and actually start scoring more than 1 or 2 goals a game!

What ever happens we really need to mix it up, I like the fact that Mick likes not to change the team much but I don't particularly like the team he puts out!! Martin's inevitably going to get a lot of stick and he does fail to deliver on many occassions but the plus point is he was there to miss, whereas Edwards for me doesn't even come close to deserving to be in the team.

The problem is Mick likes 442 (so do I) but if he plays with 2 defensively minded CM's it puts alot of pressure on the wingers to deliver and our wingers aren't good enough like they are game after game. For me it cannot continue to be the same as what they are atm either we put Martin on the right and play Murphy on the left or drop both of them all together and have Murphy and JET in the wide positions, i think I'd prefer to have Drury wide right over Edwards!!

For me though I think we need a formation change because we rely so much on our wingers, so we either need to go 532 with wing backs or 451 to add that creativity to the midfield and have a more dynamic forward line.

I like the sound of McGoldrick, he's a good footballer but to me he's another Stead (ironically) decent all round player but he doesn't really fit into a particular style he's not a big man striker like Lee and he's not a goalscorer and neither is he overly creative like a Pablo!! I really can't see why we've brought in McLean and got rid of Scotland. We've got plenty of strikers atm but apart from Chopra none look like they are capable of scoring 20 goals in a season!!

And the worst thing about that is, we paid £3.5m for them!!

We really need to sort out the midfield, or we won't stand a chance of progressing
