So distance has nothing to do with the bad record at Bristol City and it is just coincidence we have conceeded our largest amount of away goals at their ground and not Sheff Wednesday then?

I think they’re just our bogey team. I mentioned last season we never win there but was told it was irrelevant on here.

We still didn’t win that day.

To be fair, of those mentioned I think only really Cardiff can compare to BC in terms of generally being a tougher opposition than BC, Plymouth and Exeter.
Surely that depends on when we played them? In the last 30 years we have been at the rock bottom of the 4th division.

I think stating we never win there is factually correct but I still dont think there is a common reason for it. Just a coincidence. I expect Man Utd fans are seeing more and more of these now.

Yeah, to prove it accurately you'd probably have to find a way of aggregating relative league positions then compare with records against similarly placed, more local sides.

There's so many potential variables though, I wouldn't want to have to try to come up with a method, tbh.

It’s Edward Colston’s spirit cursing William Wilberforce’s. That’s why we never win there.

Yes, I know, but listening to the gaffer's presser he says he will be involved Saturday, so I guess he is confident the Kamara deal will be sorted and he will be registered in time.

No, he's confirmed he's training with them and if it goes through in time would be available for selection.

Jak has no control of whether it's done in time or not.

And in the League Cup four years later, I saw them both, even though we never win there. :emoticon-0138-think

The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Don't be a dick. I was clear in saying that in 30 league games we'd won once and the 2012 promotion season was it.

I'm not convinced Kamara wants to go to Getafe. If he hasn't settled here - as some have suggested - how is he going to settle in another country?
I did wonder this myself and wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up falling through if someone else (Pandur perhaps) goes first?
