just got in got to go out again but saw 1 -1 then saw 2mins and 41 mins and missed penalty... for those that say could be 1-2 no everything after penalty is correct at 1-1 after 6mins it would all be different!!!!!!!!!!!! merry christmas ....
My half time thoughts are that I am starting to get really fed up with this continual apathy from a squad that could do better. It almost looks like Huddersfield has 2 or 3 more players out there than us because they are passing through our midfield and defence like a knife through butter and if we don't, or can't, change it up then we will certainly lose yet another home game. This team is going backwards not just on the pitch but in their non-existent improvement and it is beyond belief that this squad has no sign of getting better any time this year. What is so wrong with us that we seem incapable of understanding how the game should be played but even more I am disappointed that Nigel doesn't seem to have any hope in his bag of tricks. Season after season we have this innate ability to produce the same lifeless brand of football and still expect success, and quite frankly I don't see the transfer window offering us any salvation because we seem more than willing to travel the same road to oblivion. Will NP change the boredom in the next half or will we see yet another embarrassing capitulation without a thought being given to innovation and commitment?
First-half player ratings Dan Bentley - 7 Zak Vyner - 6 Tomas Kalas - 5 Rob Atkinson - 5 Alex Scott - 5 Han-Noah Massengo - 7 Matty James - 7 Andi Weimann - 7 Ayman Benarous - 6 Chris Martin - 5 Antoine Semenyo - 7
On the very odd occasion we look to close down quickly and then string short sharp passes together we look good. But its rare. We then revert into allowing them time along with possession, which in turn we then work 2 or 3 passes and then long, 9 times out of 10 finding no one, giving up possession yet again.. Scott had being doing well but should have been back to help leading up to their goal.. tactics yet again, predictable and uninspiring
When NP arrived at Ashton Gate we expected better things from our team and I have to say we have missed that target by a country mile without any change of direction. As I speak Huddersfield have taken the lead after a pathetic tackle by Scott and this sums up everything we are saying about the total lack of improvement under the guidance on Nigel Pearson.
They have their 3rd, apparently against the run of play (duh), and we look devoid of any ideas which is par for our course and when bring on Bakinson to up the ante then you know we are in deep messy stuff.
The commentators clearly think we are a world class team in disguise based on their words. You can't hide the fact that we are carp with any words that can be used in polite company and just wait for the reception at full time.
No need to worry chaps because it's the refereeing decisions that have led to our demise, so everything's O.K.
Bottles being thrown by the crowd We have a break in play because Holmes is trying to take a corner but each time he does, a bottle comes down from the corner of the stand. Pathetic.
Things are about to change as Nakhi comes on to change our fortunes. Commentators blaming every one of our faults on the referee which is a poor comment on our ineptitude.
Apparently, according to the biased commentators, we haven't played badly today so I'm not quite sure which match they are watching because it isn't the same as me.
