no doubt he’s a good player, playing behind Afobe he was great, but other than that he’s been given plenty of opportunity to get back into the team by our previous managers but every time he comes on he’s very careless in possession and almost seems to put in no effort on the pitch, if a player can’t motivate themselves to put in any effort no manager is going to.

Regarding Palmer, we are short with creative midfielders.. if I was the manager, I would involve him.. end of..

    BCFC's loss IMHO

PS:- Even though the implication is he is not putting effort into training? What message does that send out to the younger players in our squad, who have fought their way through the academy to EARN their place?

    But Bentley saves!
What a brilliant stop by the City keeper, stretching full to his left to keep out O'Brien's penalty.

Didn’t he score the last game he was involved in? What message does that give?

Just caught the goal when getting my morning coffee. Great save by Bentley but it looks like they can get to us especially if we sit back - as we are!

They look better on the ball and are getting the possession with the best part of the ball. Our distribution is poor and that then puts us on the back foot. High press please and stop going backwards.

Why on earth can't we maintain possession because we are down to less than 40% and they are in total control. We give the ball away far too easily and we look ready to concede.

We are too slow closing down, allowing them time to pick passes.. where as we fail to build .. imo

Our passing out of defence is absolutely shocking and is it any wonder the ease with which they break us down? The tackling in midfield is part of our problem as to why we have to take such sustained pressure. Their passing is crisp with intent and ours is dire to say the least.

There it is, the equaliser that was always coming. Shocking plays from a team that looks totally off the pace and we could be down 1-2 except for the Bentley save. Why on earth do we continue to play this utter dross when we know it is not a game that we can win? Surely we have to make some changes at half time because if this lot stay out there we will lose and the supporters are gnashing their teeth to boo them off.
