    I’m guessing the latter
He wasnt interfering with play or their keeper

Not interfering, imo, I did wonder if it was going to be disallowed though. VAR may have disallowed it.

I'm pretty sure that VAR would have ruled it out, even though there was zero interference, as their keeper was never getting near it. It's swings and roundabouts, as I'm equally sure VAR would have ruled against the penalty awarded to Millwall last week.

Player in this case was on the ground, so wasn't obstructing the keepers vision, or their ability to play the ball. It was close to the latter, very close, and there even though the keeper wasn't saving the shot if the player had prevented the keeper moving its offside.

I agree with Supcon, nevertheless our subs (unnecessary) weakened us.
When we signed Twine and Earthy I wrote that LM would need his man management skills tested.
He made subs for the sake of keeping the likes of Mehmeti and Wells happy yesterday.
    Wrong.

I think Twine isn't 100% match fit yet, so LM was worried about injury. As for Armstrong, I recall reading from QPR fans that he rarely lasted 90 mins, so subs were needed. I think the young lad from West Ham will be a good addition, I like how he uses the ball and the spaces he's finding. Once the Japanese lad is back, we will be stronger still going forward, I think. Sykes was better yesterday but lacks the quality needed for him to be a starter in a team that is looking to be top 10 or better. Case in point, his ball thought to Armstrong in the first half wasn't strong enough; it didn't give Armstrong the room to get away from the CB and get a decent shot off, it left him cramped up and he scuffed his shot.

Just out of interest I notice you complain about players. Who do you actually rate?
My wife said yesterday that it’s only been 3 games but she dreads that Bird don’t start.

I don’t dislike Mehmeti as much as RP does but I wouldn’t have used him yesterday when we are at 1-0 at home.
I was watching the game from a Sports Centre bar in Birmingham on my son’s Stag weekend after playing Zorb football (which is hilarious btw if you haven’t tried it!!) and I must admit I let out an audible groan when I saw the substitutions.
I might use Anis if we had a 2 goal lead and I wanted to rest someone - or if forced to by injury, but not at 1-0 especially at a time in the game when the momentum is with the opposition.
I hope Dickie isn’t out injured now - apparently he was subbed because he took a knock.
I also thought that both sides were lucky to escape without losing a player in the melee that followed Palmer’s goal. There seemed to be some fisticuffs going on between Williams and one of their players.
People have criticised the referee for being poor but I thought he dealt with that incident very pragmatically.

Tanner and Wright were niggling each other throughout the game.
Think it was a case of Williams wanting the ball back and Wright holding onto it after the goal. Shows players are not the brightest, if Williams went to his right there was a ball already where they are stationed round the pitch.

So far I like the look of Armstrong and Fally. Rate Knight and Williams, really like Bird. Players like Tanner, Pring, Max(so far) are ok. Vyner is also OK but needs Dickie alongside him.
Then we come to Mehmeti, a show pony end of. No desire to track back, took the cheats option yesterday, and going the other way no desire at all to get on that cross into the South stand.

Yes - it’s more about whether their goalkeeper was impeded by our player on the ground

Really don't rate Mehmeti, at all.
Naismith at centre back doesn't work either.
Dickie going off had a big effect on the game.

went missing for their goal. The post match comments you wont hear from LM "our behaviours were to defend like pussies for the equaliser".
