Two clean sheets on the bounce is pleasing as well. Saw the game out well too, all good. We’ll done Lads
I thought we were poor against Sunderland with virtually no game plan. The introduction of Conway and Wells has brought a new structure and style that's great to watch. Long may it continue.
What about Wells? You said he was a waste of money and should be sold. I’m sure you’ve probably said that about Massengo as well.
Hey Brizzle - chin up - at least Mrs Brizzle will be happy - and you know how the saying goes: ‘Happy wife, happy life’!!!
I thought it was nice of the Cardiff fans showing me the score when they went past on the busses. Felt sorry for the ones showing zero, they seems to have nervous twitches in their hands.
What I have said is the return on the money invested has been been poor. However since he has got a spot in the team he has taken it -long nay that continue. Every player the last two games have given there all for Nige again long may that continue.
Alongside Conway we’ve eventually found a way to use Wells’ strengths, could be interesting season for Nakhi
I couldn't face another 4:00 am wake up call today so I slept in and watched the game over a well timed breakfast. Two home wins in a row and two cleans sheets to feather the nest going forward and overall a very good win. Tommy Conway looks the business and I am starting to see better performances from HNM which is nice to see but we need to keep this momentum going as we will face better sides than Cardiff as the season progresses. If there is a problem for me it has to be Vyner and DaSilva being timid, losing the ball too easily, and panicking when under pressure which in Jay's case is down to his lack of height. Another issue is our poor choice of corners, or was it the taker, that can't create enough pressure where it is needed most and that is in the centre of the box. I am starting to see a squad that is producing better football and yet our usual weaknesses show through on too regular a basis and perhaps, in what is left of the transfer window, we may see reinforcements arriving to fill the gaps. Happy Birthday Nigel and I bet you enjoyed your day. Cheers
Thought Akinson had an indifferent game.. some cracking tackles, good goal but giving the ball away cheaply which could have cost us a couple of times.. hopefully he learns to keep the concentration levels up. I’m being picky, but on another day, it could have gone against us.
Stepped through the line to send wells through to cross for Conway’s goal, and scored the second, not a bad return in fairness .
