Burton played how we wanted to play when we hit the bad spell last year.
Leeds, Crapdiff and Palarse will all come to attack. So the game will become open and allow us to play the way we like too this season.

Some of the comments I read yesterday like the season was over to a draw against Burton.
How would Chelsea fans feel now losing to a team that has not scored in the league this season? Or the gamblers amongst us who no doubt thought that Chelsea would be a good one in accumulator’s
Goes to show easy bankers never come up as we think.

Funny isn't it, we are 4th and only lost once in the league, it's pretty good so far, I can see us beating Leeds, they are sliding down the table fast

The Championship is renowned for being a tough league, but the strength in depth this season really is something - everyone's capable of taking points off anyone else. Cardiff and Leeds losing to Birmingham & Reading would seem like big upsets going by league position alone. Still disappointed with a draw, but far from terminal & we go again next week. COYR!

The game will be more open with two attacking sides.
Not at all concerned, but we do need a plan B when teams park the bus

I don't think there's anything majorly wrong with City's approach - chances were created & on another day one would've gone in.

Not many sides will set themselves up as defensively as Burton did - if City keep up what they're doing they'll do well in the long run.

Don’t know what game you was watching, but plan B was activated with Leko coming on trying to dribble past them.
When Djuric is back then plan B will be long balls to him.
However given that the ref blew up when a Burton player fell like he was shot, that might of been difficult as Djuric would of been more physical.
The problem we had on Friday was Smith getting injured and going off using up a substitution a tad too early.
Pack is good but he does tend to play slower so Reid dropped further back to collect the ball.

This is a problem when sides park the bus. but is a good thing when its hectic pace and we need to put a foot on it occasionally. He is an enigma, sometimes he has the vision to unlock a defence but sometimes he's miles off, Friday wasn't his type of game.

I like him, but wish that sometimes he would not try the maverick ball across field. Great when it works but unfortunately it’s telegraphed and quick defenders get to it first.

as said more and more teams mid table and lower will come to park the bus, now is the time to work on this in training, so as when these teams come we are ready and everybody knows what to do as second nature!!!

we still have finishing problems, yep we have players in top 10/12 scorers table but should have double figures by now!

We have the top scorer in The Championship and our other forward 2 goals behind him. Nobody in the Championship has reached double figures yet.

I am concerned teams may see the way to obtain points from us will be to 'park the bus' , frustrate us and look to catch us on the break, I hope not, but agree we should try to work on ways to combat this tactic.

'Parking the bus' is a valid tactic - albeit an extremely annoying one, as is 'hoofball' which imho we should resort to when teams do 'park the bus'.

Put Flint and Diedhiou in their box and fire ball after ball in to them, with Paterson and Leko sniffing for scraps.
