Normally I’d agree with you on wages Ashtonred, but after the revelation that Palmer is on £30k per week maybe that’s not a sticking point any more?

Bakinson looks very languid and lazy to me lately, he doesn't put himself about much.

 

I was never an LJ fan as a player, to me he is the type of player that is the reason why our midfield was and remained so weak as a player and his midfield selections as a manager.

Looks like most of his football in France is pretty much lower league stuff at ligue 2 level and presently Belgium ligue 1, having watched French football for 16 years, the physical step up to English football is huge and Diedhiou struggles and Massengo is nowhere near strong enough yet.

All I can find on youtube is this clip 2 years old looks like maybe reserve team?

 

We saw similar footage prior to making the move for Fammy and he has never really fitted the bill as advertised. Would this possible signing do the business for us or would he become another member of the french connection?

 

If I was Fammy I would move back to a French ligue 1 side, he would look more of player over there, like he did when at Angers.

One thing I was impressed and surprised by, apart from Moore’s performance yesterday was Fams first touch - he must have been working on it in training. The good thing is that a first touch IS something you can work on - you don’t need to be gifted (although it helps) - I know because when I first started playing mine was awful, but I worked at it and quite quickly it improved no-end.
