I keep reading that Struber likes to play with 2 up top, yet as far as I remember, he has never started a game with 2 up top so far.
they always say things like that ... it is space filling and who actually cares if it doesnt actually be true! it just lost in the annals of time ................however should their thoughs on what MIGHT happen COME TRUE ... then they can in big headlines say "we told you so" ............ when it happens it happens [ not just this comment re SA] to any comment. plenty of gullible rumour mongers out there to pick up the batten!
" city combing the out of contract lists for suitable striker, might sign one in next week or so" cough is getting bad!
Bristol City's stance on late Sinclair Armstrong departure amid Goztepe transfer interest Bristol Live understands Turkish club Goztepe hold an interest in Bristol City forward Sinclair Armstrong https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...s/bristol-citys-stance-late-sinclair-10485231
Whichever idiot in our organization sanctioned the purchase of Armstrong should be fined the equivalent of any loss incurred on the sale of a useless player that was never going to fit the mandate. Get rid of him and invest in the future because Sinclair should already be part of our past.
Gerhard Struber shares Cam Pring and Max O'Leary fitness update amid Bristol City injury absence Bristol City and Gerhard Struber have been without both Cam Pring and Max O'Leary through injury so far this season https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/gerhard-struber-shares-cam-pring-10490103 Gerhard Struber addresses Sinclair Armstrong speculation after late Bristol City exit links Bristol City striker Sinclair Armstrong has been linked with a last-minute summer transfer away from Ashton Gate https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...struber-addresses-sinclair-armstrong-10489711
Gerhard has stated that the next transfer window has to be much better and I hope he doesn't expect his wants to be met in the January window. Lansdown and Co have a bad habiit of disappearing when success is awaiting us and the money is needed to boost the chances of a successful final play-off at Wembley, or even better an automatic spot. I still have questions regarding the players who are still left who are either not producing, or for some not even getting much game time, and that is why are we keeping so many non-participants? Surely we could have dumped Fayulu, Armstrong and Cornick without missing a beat but someone decided that due to our ongoing injury crisis we need extra coverage but I reckon we would be better off if we had cashed in on those players and brought in some better materiaL. As usual we missed the real boat which has to be down to poor decison making and lack of money and support from our management. Excuses don't cut it with me because if you have intentions then for hecks sake go and get the target and move on.
Next transfer window must be 'better' - Struber https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cvgql8ndyezo

Well 8 teams play each other in the top 14 [ thats teams that can pass City's 8 points or equal it ] Of top 6 none play each other! Stoke /Brum, Coventry/Norwich & WBA/Derby are home SheffW/ City, PNE/ Middsbro & Oxford /Leicester are away Soton/Ports .. Watford/BBurn .. Swansea/Hull .. Charlton/ Millwall the other top 14 's fixtures. A win for us could see us well positioned a draw maybe [ likely ] out of top 6 Ipswich v Sheff utd play tonight ............ Ipswich could move to 13th/19th Sheff U 21st /24th
It makes our big win there on the first game of the season seem a bit less impressive given their results ever since But how many times do you see a team that’s come close to a promotion the previous season, but just missed out, go on to really struggle the following year ?
I have no gripe with Sheffield United or their fans, but I just LOVE it when the bookies and press predictions are confounded. Sheff U were favourites for promotion and we were predicted to be mid table again. Of course, that could still happen, but I’m loving it at the moment!!
my thoughts exactly ............. lost a couple players and previous manager was playing a different style should have stuck without manager change as were pretty much an all round team ... often happens sack manager think getting a better one and catastrophie
I don’t agree, it doesn’t lessen our win at all. We were away from home, and had to overcome some physiological hurdles after the play-off defeat and we had a new. Manager as well.
who will buckle first?? MIDDSBRO ...... CITY ....... COVENTRY .... LAST 3 UNDEFEATED .................. COULD BE LIKE A SLOW MOTION SKITTLES all 3 play on different days next weekend MIDDSBRO v WBA LEICS v COVENTRY CITY v OXFORD reality check......... In past seasons we have failed dismally to beat teams in the bottom third [ taken as bottom third being ave of 4 game before and 4 after ] so 4 games before 24th/20/19/18th AND start of 4 after Sheff Wed +next 3 ADD 23rd to that! ===== 11 points TAKE STOKE............ 4th [ lost ] 16/ 23/19/11th ======== 12 from 15 points MIDDSBRO .......... 24th/ 9/13/7/8th [draw ] ======== 13 from 15 points Middsbro by far the "harder teams?"
