Agreed. We are still too lightweight in midfield. I hope Joe Williams recovers quickly but I read somewhere he's going to be out for some time. Not confident at all. We've swopped one gamble (LJ) for another (Holden). Add Covid into the mix (ok, ALL clubs are affected, not just us) it's going to be a strange season...…...
I can't see ANY club doing that amount of business this year, because of the COVID situation and lack of money around.
Whoa up R&W. 1st post - You make a point about a top 6 finish and then - 2nd post knock it down with the fiscal situation. You can't have it both ways.
That’s kind of the point. When everyone is buying left right and centre with loads of money (arguably earning more than spending under Mark Ashton) then the playing field is level AT THAT TIME Now the playing field is still level, but NOBODY will be spending big. Proportionately that means that LJ with ‘loads of money....!!!’ will have had the same chance as Holden with whatever is put his way. I personally think that Holden should be given the same TIME as LJ. But then, I wouldn’t have chosen DH.
