To be honest I've never really had any feelings towards him good or bad but agree he was a complete waste of a shirt yesterday.

He ain't been here long enough or played enough for me to form an opinion but the little bits I have seen I think we've done bloody well to get 10m for him. If he's worth 10m Mayenda is worth 200m.

I'd put money on him being at Brentford today ...

... and I'd bet he cheered when Brighton scored which he couldn't even manage yesterday.

Mayenda's goal was so good even some of the Bristol fans applauded <laugh>

He actually came over and clapped with Wilson Isidor before that video.
But got a few boos and walked back.
    Not a good look though.

    The mob have spoken ...

... it's a long way to Bristol only to see a display like that from a player.

I don't think he'll play him tomorrow or Monday either ...

... I hope not, I'm going and would like to watch without the distraction of Tommy Watson tbh.

I'm not at the match on Monday as I'm away but I'm not someone who would boo a player, no matter what the performance was like. Don't think it helps anything at all but I can understand if some do mind.

Even if he's not the worst player on the pitch, the fact that he is leaving means his performances will be under a microscope. He needs to be taken out of the firing line, he's leaving and we should be moving on. I'd understand if he was one of our best players but he's not.

I thought he came over too, but wasnt checking for every player. Read on here he had walked straight down the tunnel so assumed that was right. He was woeful yesterday, but some of the stuff posted about him is way over the top imo. Heard the home crowd booed him last time out as well. Maybe better for all if he doesnt play now. If fans are booing him it wont help our ambition at all. Mind you, if it means Mayenda coming out of the central striker role I dont see us going up either. Vital we dont try to plug the left wing with him imho. Regis will do what is best I have no doubts.

No one could be worse than Watson imo ...

... I'd rather play Hjelde there than let him wear the shirt again.

I'll be disgusted if he starts on Monday..

I wonder if RLB, and the owners, really understand our fans passions... I'm struggling to see who will pay left other than Watson

    I didn't see you post that ...

... all I remember was that you said he and others had given the ball away.

What are your thoughts now you've had the chance to think back on it all?

It's obviously one of the major issues from yesterday.

You were hoping RLB would play him at Bristol, would you play him again after his performance?

ELF or Aleksic could play left, possibly even Rigg?

I think until Mundle is back, it'll probably be square peg in a round hole. Maybe play Wilson wide left, if his confidence is low, maybe he could get some back playing there and cutting in on his right. Not ideal cos that would mean there wouldn't be a first team striker on the bench. Other than that, I would be looking at Aleksic or like Chunk said maybe Rigg. I don't think RLB would want Le Fee there again but I suppose we'll find out in time

I’d never boo him but it’s a terrible situation all round really. Should have just taken the cash in January looking back, and I wanted him to stay. Whoever announced the deal has done him no favours, and im not defending him. The least you can do is put a bit effort in though. Really need cirkin and ELF/mundle fit for the first game

It's 3 games until the playoffs, and we are guaranteed 4th. We can just play whoever we need to give game time to there.

I would drop him on form. Last 2 games have been poor. Yesterday was really poor. I wouldnt go as far as some and never consider him again, but that is the coach in me speaking.

There was an incident in the first half where a long ball was played in for him and he didnt challenge at all. I said to my brother at the time he doesnt fancy this. It looked that way time and again. Then again I dont think we have ever seen Watson be aggresive like say Mundle. When he made his debut he was compared to a 14 year old on here and called weak etc. Partly why I dont subscribe to the arguments hoping that he fails miserably, or worse. A young lad, in an invidious position (of his making mostly but not all) and he perhaps doesnt know whether to **** or bust. He did get into two brilliant positions to score if memory serves, but the ball didnt get played. But he was a long way off the level needed.

For all concerned he needs to sit out on Monday at the very least. It will be counter productive to play him then. He wont get patience after yesterday, and this is still a young team that need every one of us behind them. Who to play instead? We cant go into the play offs with Hjelde playing there mate. We are all praying Mundle is fit arent we? If he isnt then I worry we will be completely unbalanced and good coaches will pick us off. If Cirkin is fit, and Regis feels be cant trust Watson, then he maybe an option with Hjelde behind him? All square pegs though.

I doubt many are hoping the lad fails miserably mind, success for him equals proven success for the Sunderland academy.

As for who plays there instead , I'd be playing Enzo there until Mundle is fit and failing that Isidor. We certainly have options on the left.
