If the selection criteria was ‘most successive seasons in the top 2 divisions’ then LJ would feature. Clearly it wasn’t - and a good job because Cooper wouldn’t have featured and he deserves very high recognition for saving us. We might have become like Torquay, Bury, Chester or Newport if it wasn’t for TC.
It’s all about context imo, Cooper and Dicks in my lifetime for me. Nige did well to stop the rot, but nowhere near the achievement of those two.

Haarlands mis was something else as well. But I thought Foden’s first was better than Rashford’s goal.
And City's 3rd was from p*ss balling about 20yrds from goal. Every week goals are are scored across the entire football league by messing around at the back. Madness, but it's the modern game. I know the theory but it'll be our turn to f*** up next.

I disagree - it was certainly a very, very good goal, but Rashfords goal was struck first time, whereas Foden took a touch or two before he hit it. Just my opinion but I think what Rashford did was technically harder than Foden. Both great goals though.
I just thought it was more hot in hope. Fodens was class like the player he is. Why the **** don’t Southgate pick him all the time is beyond me.
