Massengo, for me, is an enigma. Great engine but very few assists and zero goals. Weak in the tackle and happy to fall over. Playing in Europe might suit his type of player. I certainly hope so, he seems a great lad.
My thought exactly. I know you’ve played the game RP - so have I. For me, Massengo does all the stuff I find really difficult to do, but not the basics. I could pick out a pass or shoot for goal, with moderate success, but weaving in and out of opposition players was beyond me. The Cruyff turn was the only trick in my repertoire and once I’d used it against an opponent I couldn’t use it again!!!!!! How I would have loved to have been blessed with Han’s ‘close ball’ skills.
Regarding Massengo, I was listening to Talk Sport a few days ago who were discussing great player that had played for Chelsea, the name Claude Makélélé cropped up.. what he brought to the team was quite a highlight, what he rarely contributed was goals or assists.. I know he was quite a way away from that standard, but with the right coaching and direction, would have been a good asset imo.. I’m not sure he was given that here. Many of the fans liked his style.. wasted potential talent.. Not sure NP knew what to do with him!
Clearly talented, I’m not sure his strengths are suited to the hustle and bustle of the championship.

For all of their agent spending, I'm not sure how much good it will end up doing Watford, Norwich or WBA this season
No good for WBA as it’s their last season of the PL payments. At least the other 2 have another couple of seasons
Leicester look a good bet to join them at the moment. But anything is possible, and it's still perm any 3 from about 9 clubs, all the way up to Palarse to get relegated. Worst case scenario (for the chances of us having any success next season) is if any of the really big boys come down to our league like Everton, West Ham, Leeds. Southampton, Forest, and Bournemouth would be better.

we have seen in the past big clubs drop down and quite hard .. Sunderland for eggsample ..... West ham been here , also ... Leeds .. Leicester ... Palace in fact all 9 eggcept for Everton in past decade!
Defender Ben Gibson has admitted "time is running out" for Norwich City but still believes they can secure a place in the Championship play-offs. The Canaries are seventh in the table and face what Gibson believes will be a "six-pointer" at Blackburn on Friday. They are four points behind Rovers and Millwall, who are currently occupying the final two play-off spots. Usually the table is cut and dried after Easter but Easter this year is early so an eggsxtra couple of games before season end! ... Burnley almost at point of mathematically nailed on ... to be champions / promoted! Middsbro and Luton max is 88 points for one of them or 86points for both [ they play each other ] top 2 have a game in hand though! 60 points is current relegation safety .. WIGAN can make 55 with a miracle!
Agreed but it seems that every season the parachute payments get larger and the financial gulf between the Prem and Championship grows wider still. It’s not that many years since Man City were in L1 but I don’t think you’ll ever see a team of that size and wealth drop that far again, unless of course Sky pull the plug
The West of England looks like it will lose 2 teams even further from regaining their league status as both Yeovil and Torquay are in serious danger of relegation from the National League. Gary Johnson must be so disappointed to see both his former and current clubs falling off the league perch into the abyss. As far as who comes down from the Prem doesn't concern me as long as they are all within close travel for our wonderful travelling supporters. Bournemouth, Leicester and Southampton would fit that remit to a tee.
