I think we'll be in for an interesting week with transfer speculations and a great chance of 3 points this weekend. Off to Nerja in the morning so will be keeping an eye out for updates on 606.
I like to think I know my geography but where the heck is Nerja? Ann and I have spent ten winters in Spain but that is not a place on my radar. Anyway Redprintt have a great time in Nerja.
It's in Spain, Nerja is situated at the eastern tip of the Costa del Sol, in the province of Malaga, 50 kilometres from the city of Malaga and within an hour and a half's ... Best things to do in Nerja · Best Beaches In Nerja · A guide to nightlife in Nerja please log in to view this image

Only a question of time now before AS leaves us. The only real question is, will it leave us enough time to get a replacement for him, and strengthen other areas? If not, the club need to keep him until the summer.
It seems to me the when depends on other clubs meeting our valuation, I assume we’ve irons in the fire should that happen.
Gut feeling it will be somewhere else. One thing for sure Nige has brought a toughness to Bristol City no longer can clubs just come in and cherry pick our players at any old price. He has the interests of the club at heart. We are in good hands people.
As much as I hated Ashton. But are you forgetting the deals he got for Kodjia, Kelly, Webster and Reid (who you thought was not as good as Taylor). Brownhill was a clause in the contract but for a long time now we’ve not been a pushover. So now you’re back in love with Nige don’t think selling is his own idea.
Whatever we think of Ashton he did get good deals for players we sold, we’ve not been a push over in that regard for a while.
That hasn’t happened since the Maynard fiasco…. The LJ and MA era may have spent more than any other era, but they also recouped far more as well. As yet, NP hasn’t made a cash positive sale that I’m aware of?
And we are still waiting for all of the good news to come, but don't look at our January dealings in the past to look for hope. Time is again running out and the cash register hasn't dinged yet. Unless we are waiting till the last minute deals I don't expect as much as some people think, but I have been wrong before.
That has always been the case for us and many other clubs at this level. We have to sell our family jewels to strengthen the squad
I thought we could at least use the money from Towler, but I believe it’s gone into the academy, I don’t begrudge that tbh as they’ve proved more than worthy of investment.

Would be a good move for both sides imo, he’s not likely to get game time here, and from our perspective will free up some wages hopefully, maybe allow us to offer Scott a bit more for instance.
