Ordered a couple of tickets last week together

- that looks to be in walking distance too.
Just seen that there is a £9 congestion charge for Bristol City centre

its not that far, and at least we know there will be loos when we get their to use

 

Doing a rare family trip. Me and my brother going together. We rarely meet up now due to living 200 miles apart. Looking forward to it. I like the Bristol games for some reason. Always seems like a proper football town, whether City or Rovers. Canny atmosphere expected

 

their fans are proper nice,

had a few chats walking to the stadium when we last went,

no BS or "we hate SAFC" chants or looking for trouble,

really sound fanbase

Coming by road.
Do NOT USE M4/M32 route and don't try to negotiate the roads and streets of Bristol
If you are coming by road use M4/M5 southbound to junction 18(Avonmouth) then follow signs A4 Bristol airport
It looks the long way round but its quicker.
Parking is normally in the streets around the area as long as you are there by midday please don't block driveways or park on corners.

Pubs not sure of which ones will be open,possibly best one are in the cumberland road basin area Nova Scotia, Pump House and The Cottage.

TRAINS if your coming by train,please have your tickets issued to Parson Street as it helps us
try and get a new train station nearer to Ashton Gate and its normally the same price
Trains from London or the Birmingham direction arrive in good time for the XX:26 XX:54 past the hour
from Bristol temple meads to Parson Street
It takes you two thirds of the way to the ground and walk the rest of the way or catch the number 24 if you struggle to walk

Special bus's depart from Bristol temple meads to the ground.

 

We got told about the trains as well. That is how we are going. No car for once

Sounds like Bristol City have sold out too. Should make for a cracking atmosphere, it’s a huge game for them
