Absolutely dreading this fixture to be bluntly honest.

MASSIVE win vs Bolton does set us up to give this a go - but lets face it, Watford are on a run, are fluid, home and are going to be an utter nightmare to play!

Annoyingly Brentford host doomed Millwall. Wolves play Derby the Friday night - and could overtake us! Other way of looking at it is Derby are on a right wobble and may be catchable.

Sadly predicting a 3-1 loss - however, even should Brentford win we'd be 4 points off with 7 to play. Rather we didn't, but still not season over.

    Thoughts?

A belligerent and bloody minded 1-1 draw.. similar to the ITFC of a few months ago. Not pretty but a point closer to our final total <ok>

Well a scratchy win, but a win is a win and a draw against the Hornets would be great result. COME ON Boys!:emoticon-0165-muscl

I'd literally take anything horrible game win this we can win any remaining fixture !!!! It's the hope that kills you.

Pinball and hoof is fine for this game - we're not gonna get anything otherwise Watford are class on the deck.

Sorry to intrude but this match could go any way. I wouldn't even predict a close game. Either side could win comfortably. Remember our last defeat was 3-0 at home to your feathered friends.
I have no animosity to you lot, though I remember Warky had a bit of a run in with someone on our site. I hope it doesn't come to that again.

Let's just hope it doesn't become a D'Urso show. We feel much the same way about him as you seem to.

    Nice one mate...

Though I'm not sure about the bit about our Warky having a bit of a run in with fans on another team's forum, that doesn't sound like him at all...in fact I simply don't believe it of him...<laugh>

You're welcome here anytime mate <ok>
I don't think comparing a defeat to Norwich to facing us is a good comparison though, they play better football than us most of the time. You've had some pretty solid results since then.

I'd take a scrappy 0-0, but then I'm not paying the cash and travelling down to London to watch the game, so not sure what the travelling supporters would like to see. At least a decent result and a goal from us I guess?

I think a draw would be a good result in a tough away match against an in-form team.

Never seen a town 0-0 but happy to get one Saturday. It won't be. Deeney's scored 6 games in a row, we've kept 2 clean sheets in 14 I think!

1-1 or 2-2 would be great outcomes. Would set up the Bournemouth game nicely.

Wonder if Dids may be back for the weekend?

Also, wonder what system Mick will plump with? On the basis of him changing it at half time due to the way Bolton play, perhaps he'll line up with 3 in CM from the start. Watford do conede goals so we'll score!

Didn't think you lot would need any favours off others, thought you'd have won the league by February! ;)

Looking a little bit more like a 3 horse race for top 2 now with 8 to play - thought you and Derby will feel you can turn around the 5 point deficit, but that is looking quite a big ask.

There's no animosity from me towards any of yours mate! <ok>

Every time I go on your board I have a good old chuckle over the OTT sycophancy displayed by your resident Budgie friend. It seems that he can't get his balls in deep enough! <laugh> <ok>

I must be careful what I say because I don't want him to ban me from any other boards!

Well Bishop being out is a major blow. No McGoldrick back either and Jonny Parr may be out too! Brilliant news!

Mick is saying that Connolly is close to getting some minutes. I hope it comes soon, what with Bish and Parr out.
