Referee has lost it. Giving our lads yellow cards for the same sort of challenges that Morecambe are making with no punishment
Frustrating. We made hats work of that with our defensive errors. You can’t win games without a good defence and you certainly can’t win a title without one and on today’s evidence we have one excellent right back and that’s it.

Happy with getting a draw from that game, not because I'm happy with drew with Morecambe, but because we kept going right to the end. The ref had a terrible second half, yellow cards for us yet barely any for Morecambe for similar challenges. Harper and Evans will boss most games at this level, Burns and Piggott were lively.
Encouraging signs, great we came strong at the end, lifted the crowd, ref lost it big time 2nd half. Much to tighten defense wise, but fair start to a long campaign. Penney better 2nd half.
We must replace Woolfenden, he always looks like he's playing footie in the park, not enough drive or urgency for a pro player.
Maybe a move away would be best for him too, which would be a shame. Or maybe Paul Cook won’t last that long and someone else will get the best out of him. Either way, not particularly arsed. His early promise definitely faded last season.
Let’s keep in perspective too that 8 (eight) players made their debut after being thrown together the last few weeks. When does that ever lead to a well oiled machine?
