Good result, pleased to see Bru got a half and hopefully he'll be joined by Fraser before too long.

Just got back from the game, typical dogged town performance. Not a lot creatively, but worked the channels excellently, and Sears caused them all kinds of trouble, brilliant performance from him. I also have to mention Knudsen, who I thought had a triffic game, in fact the whole defence were very good. Niles had his best game for a while, and was finally running at players and taking them on. Murphy, excellent hold up play, but not a lot else. Douglas very ineffective, but had to play the sitting role once Skuse left. Bru, good touches, but looks very rusty, hopefully will get up to match fitness. Malarcyk looked extremely unfit and clumsy, can't see him getting anywhere near Smith and berra. I actually thought that Fulham played pretty well. McCormack is quality in this division, and should be playing premiership, even with being overweight. If they had better movement in the final third, then they could've won this game, were getting into good positions around the box, but there was no movement off the ball.
All in all, good all round away performance, and the fans were outstanding as always...especially on a damp Tuesday night in December one week before Christmas, I take my wet hat off to them

Absolutely...these two boys will add the creativity, fresh talent and fresh legs for 2nd half of this pleasing season!

Problem is, where will the Bishop go?!

FFS Spanish don't give me a YIPPEE please slate at least one player!!!!! Someone surely needs a slating!

Joking aside ( SEMI Spanish will hopefully get back to me ) that sounds like a great report Stretchy - lets do what we do best in games, ball forward use the channel but I think the difference with this and last season is we have more ballers and a lot more quality.

We haven't even seen Bishop on the pitch yet, Fraser is to come back ( he's a starter all day long ) but I think the onus is on a slightly different system which he will need to get used to. McGoldrick will hopefully play a part this season yet and get back to full fitness - otherwise with January approaching we're going to have to get another striker in. Bru will feature more, much improved midfield and attack.

Good news re Knudsen also - and they were saying on the radio Chambers had gone forward more last night, well he did set up our opening goal at Charlton. I think he's certainly adding more of an attacking threat this season than last.

We have to sort out the damned home form - I said start of the season I could see us being excellent on the road due to the addition of quick wingers but maybe find teams harder to break down at home. Annoyingly, that's proving the case. Let me do a Derby write up a sec.
