Each to their own, manager deserves credit for swapping it around a bit and being more bold. Also, deserves credit for the defence tightening up a hell of a lot too. Happy tonight. COYB.
Astonishing luck as every team around us is losing! A good night for Town! Murph works so dam hard..deserves one!
Spanish if Weighty wants to give Mick credit then that's up to him! Table could look rather favourable in a few mins.
So we can f and blind, we can moan, and go " bla bla bla " until the cows come home, whether people like it or not, we're now up to 10th and not a million miles off the play off zones after the most ridiculous poor run imaginable. That is 3 clean sheets in 5 so good to see the defence has tightened up - fair play Gerken amongst others. Beat Rotherham Saturday and things could look even better. COYB.
Absoutely White. Spanish will be deeply upset that he cannot bash the keyboard to death tonight after a win Well it's played 15, worst run possible after a HELL of a start, and we're in there. Auto zero chance, 6th is worth as much as 3rd so that's the aim. Can we? God knows. But the defence has certainly tightened up and Mick seems to have found a system he's going to stick with.
Yes the defence certainly getting sorted out now and as you say West long long road ahead yet for all the teams in what has to be nearly the toughest division in world football
Maybe 'only' Bolton, but the win was a long time coming and it all feels a bit better now. Need to back it up with a win against Rotherham, ideally another clean sheet and maybe we can start believing in the playoffs again
It's an awkward division - wind the clock back 3 hours we were winless in 7, 14th,,,, looking doom and gloomy. Now we're up to 10th, everything has gone right both our way, 7 above us all fail to win, 4 points off the play offs. I must say my favourite article during our dreadful run - which MAY return, who knows, was some poster thought we may even get relegated under Mick. Good job I wasn't drinking or I'd have spat the drink out laughing my head off, no way are we going to come bottom 3 this season forums really are hilarious at times. Win and " we're the best thing ever " - lose are " rar rar rar " Anyway, lets see if we can follow it up Saturday. Exactly Mike, opposition irrelevant, still gotta do the job. No gimmes in this league.
It's a nice offer Spanish .....but I don't want any of your discharge from your dick or anywhere else....
Ficking hilarious, the defence has tightened up etc, we played the team bottom of the table ffs, so we should win and keep a clean sheet. Sorry westy but no it wont keep me quiet, i want Mick out, end of and im surprised you are all soo bloody naive that a win against the team bottom means you think we can make play offs etc, hilarious!!
Good result and an entertaining game.............can't ask for more. Heskey coming on got the biggest cheer of the night......from the town fans.....I think that was the moment we knew it was in the bag.
Spanish, can't you just enjoy a win? This was a good result, even if it was widely expected among most of us on here. As a few have already noted, it's good to get another clean sheet under our belts, particularly with our defensive concerns earlier in the campaign and, indeed, throughout most of this calendar year. We got a bit of luck from elsewhere, with regards to results, which is always a welcome bonus. The upcoming trip to Rotherham is an interesting one. Win that, and we will be taking advantage of these easier fixtures (on paper) and mounting a climb up the table. Of course one win does not excuse previous problems and concerns, but it's better than a loss, better than a draw, and should be celebrated, regardless of who the manager is. Come on Town!
