Dumb is the word, they seem to see misspelling my username as the height of humour If they want to start a thread taking the piss, and asking for trouble they'll get it. I'm tempted with Northumberland, the place of my ancestors, but communications to the SOL aren't as good. I was in the Borders around Kelso, last week, and it was absolutely beautiful. I know there's a branch up that way so I'll talk to them and see what's what.
Depends what you want from retirement. Walking and scenery will be the foundation for when I retire. I'd love somewhere like Keswick.
Yes I remember you saying you'd done a few big walks. We've just done 2 days walking over the Cheviots and stayed up there for a night ......... absolutely bloody freezing but spectacular. We could see Lindisfarne, Scotland, Durham .......... marvellous.
I remember going to Highfield Road to the Bennett vs Speedie Cup a Replay.... All the way down on the coach the lads laughing saying Coventry had no-one to score as Speedie was suspended.... A young lad called Livingston (I think) played and smashed in 4 or 5 ?! Just saying like !!!
I'm sorry, I thought with you being designated spokesperson for your board you were representing it as whole.
Some kunt sometime somewhere did the World a huge injustice and told you you were funny. And now we have to live with the repercussions. Do us a favour Funk and go to sleep. Oh and don't wake up for another fortnight Nitey nite!
Ha ha! The Audacity! You gift yourself the authority to speak for your board by asking me to do you a favor and get rid of smug for you, then when it doesn't go your way and get a **** you, you tell people to be quite on their own board. The only people who don't think narcissists are ****ers are narcissists, you sir are ****er, and I've got some disappointing news for you. I never sleep! Do us a favour? Choke yourself a bit too hard whilst ****ing arse to arse with your daddy on a jellied eel. There's a good lad.
Thanks for bringing that to mind, what a horrible day out that was. We took loads down and sang our heads off until after abut 15 minutes into the game, we were awful that night weren't we? Yes I know these things can happen but surely it has to be better not to be facing their first choice striker. Whatever the QPR supporters are saying it's obvious that he's a goal threat. He may have lost a little form but no one was asking for him to be dropped.
Hmmmm, he seems to see himself as some kind of 'board enforcer' doesn't he? Hopefully the posts can go back to football matters soon although the QPR lads don't seem to want that.
It was awful... I remember the noise on the coach going down... And the silence coming back. Totally agree with you... Austin deffo their biggest threat and he is a big loss to them. Let's hope we can take advantage tomorrow and go to Bradford full of confidence!! Ps. I know 'confidence' has become a dirty word to some sets of fans so I apologise to any Bradford fans who inadvertently may have taken offence
Staying at the Ramside this weekend, we're up for a funeral. I asked my wife how she'd fancy moving up to Durham. She didn't say no! If you're both working, the standard of living is so much better up here. No rat race (well, maybe a smaller one), no rude southern buggers, no 2 hour commute, air you can't taste, restaurants just as good as the West End, more home games! What's to lose? We'll be keeping a look out on the work front!
