Unfortunately we have one of those two goalkeepers that is far superior in every respect and he isn't starting league games.

The majority of our fans that have seen both play this season would be in complete agreement that our best keeper Jakupovic needs to be playing league games. Quite simple really.

The HDM ran a poll after the Newcastle game and 89% voted for the Jak, but they ran the same poll after the Boro game and last time I looked, the voting for Marshall and Jakupovic was dead level.

At the end of the day who is in goal is not the problem at the moment, either would do an OK job, what goes on outfield is where all our problems lie.

Except that some think Jak is more inspirational than Marshall which does affect what happens outfield.

That I agree with, and the reason I would like to see him in goal, he at least gets the fans going. I just meant that in the scheme of things at the moment, that position is the least of our worries.

This thread is showing posters with early onset of ''Fenwick madness'' - the parallels are there for all to see, Mussie/Boaz, Jak/Marshall, it's uncanny. Any of you ****s started your dossier yet btw?

I keep thinking back to Myhill/Duke.

If Duke had an awesome game in the cup, would people have been clamouring for him to start the next league game and demanding Myhill be dropped? I really doubt it.

Duke did have an extended run in the side when Myhill was injured? Did Myhill come straight back in? Genuine question, it was during my uni years and a lot of that is...er... well blurred.

I remember him having a run in the side more than once. Remember he was understudy here for about 6 years. At least one occasion he was brought in not because of injury but because Myhill had been playing poorly. I'm pretty certain Myhill would never have been dropped without playing poorly though, the same way it's unlikely Marshall will now.

Am surprised CanadaTiger has not appeared on this thread as he is a massive Jakupovic fan. Also has not posted for at least a couple of weeks in the Prediction League where he has consistently competed for years.

Hope he is okay. He is approaching 78!

this is why joe hart moved to torino and why people questioned his mentality as being too ragey and too '****ing up for it m8'

His "madness" was mainly against Peter Taylor, for reasons which I don't think were ever revealed: please enlighten us if I'm wrong.
He also seemed to have a major man-crush for Mussie.
All very strange, but he always made quite compulsive reading. And always without any foul language.

I used to see, and talk to, John at away matches, as you rightly state, he was never a fan of PT, his dislike turned into an obsession when he dropped Mussie for the young Boaz. Whenever I spoke to him after Mussie was dropped this turned into the main thrust of every conversation.

Just put sky sports news on and theyve got stats for the highest save percentage in the PL
    Lee Grant 85%
    Tom Heaton 77%
    Kasper Schmeichel 75%
    ELDIN JAKUPOVIC 74%
    Jordan Pickford 74%

Thats the Pickford all the pundits are ****ing over... and Jaks level pegging.

If this was a boxing match the ref would have stopped it.

Stop posting facts Chazz, it won't get you anywhere. You're better off just accepting Marshall is the better keeper, from someone who hasn't seen him play. Just let it go.
