I reckon if the crowd turned on MoN after only 11 months, Short would throw the towel in too this time. Then we would be ****ed big time and back to the Murray style owned and Mick Buxton management days and me finished with the club for good.

Admirable words for a young lad just embarking on his SAFC roller-coaster ride.

Lets see how you feel after 40 years of let downs and **** ups? Its not as much fun after that.

Cest, i'm going to be 30 next June. Not old, I know, but i've been going to the games for just over 20 years now and as you well know apart from the Peter Reid days, I have seen absolutely **** all.

I can see why your like this because of your obvious backing for O'Neill, but it's like you have give your soul and every bit of hope to this man! Maybe we need a shake up and stop going for the named managers who have done something in the past and go down the lines of Wigan and Swansea giving a young, hungry manager a chance, who will change our style of football and make us more 'current'.

    Great post that mate <ok>

I don't want MON gone yet, but I am certain that Martinez is my pick if he does.

As I said in a rage last night, and maintain now. 3 games.

    Mush,

How did Haroun play for Boro last night? He was their best player by a mile last season at the sol and looked just what we needed in CM. Just curious that's all.

If he's the one I'm thinking of, the tall, kinda lanky on in centre mid, he was pretty solid, but I thought he seemed to take an age to collect and turn with the ball.

Looked good in motion, but sold a few easy short passes a bit short.

What exactly is current? Where the **** are Wigan and Swansea exactly? Playing nice pissy passy football and getting humped every other week? No thanks for that. Swansea have 2 points more than us and Wigan 1 less and we have a game in hand over both? Is that so much better like we have to sacrifice MoN for them? Wigan cling to the EPL like a stubborn **** stain and leak more goals than a dozen teams combined and Swansea tippy tappy ****e would put me to sleep after 47 passes to get it out of the home 18 yard box.

Of the teams above us, I wouldn't have any of their managers with the exception maybe of Jol (who I do rate) and below us Lambert is 4th bottom and Hughes (who many on here wanted over MoN) is bottom.

Just who are these better younger managers?

MoN is the best manager for us right now and I am shocked and appalled at the lack of conviction and backbone of many lads I respect on here, calling for him to be sacked, or to stand down and be replaced.

Lets at least give one of the games most respected and successful managers of the last 20 years, at least a couple of seasons before the usual assassination brigade do their stuff eh? If we are still ****e in another 18 months then look to change it but the bloke hasn't even been here a full year yet man.

The problem when you can't create is that eventually your defence gives out and then you are ****ed
