If Wigan had kept 11 men, when they were outplaying us, we'd likely be 17 without a win.

Would any ****er be defending MON then?

We should have lost 9 from 11 all comps this season, any one who tells me 'this is a good thing' can come and polish my balls.

    It's not.

Who do people think should replace O'Neill then, who is available and realistic?

Redknapp wouldn't manage a Northern team. He's already turned down Blackburn.

I think Redknapp would get vertigo if he ever moved north of the Watford gap, and I can't see Martinez leaving Wigan for us (it's hardly a massive step up, let's be brutally honest.)

    I can.

He was ready to go to Liverpool, till he was given a bizarre list of duties, and Dave Whelan is ****ED.

He has no realistic chance of progressing Wigan, and he's aware of that now.

The man is a class act, who plays lovely, sharp, ATTACKING football.

I'm not asking for MON out, but if he goes, Martinez is the main contender for me.

Poyet & Di Canio would be points of interest as well, even if they have no top level experience as managers.

NMG has just exploded in a fit of rage at the thought of the DGB being reinstated.
Not looking too good for you boys at the moment TBH. Having said that... remember Fergie had a crap start and Man Utd and look at old bacon face now...

    Seriously...Harry Redknapp?

That guy can only manage a side if he is given free roam of Warren Buffet's credit card collection.

Instead of fighting O'Neill's corner which I have done on another thread, I'll try and identify a solution...

Sessegnon - top, top player. Completely isolated in a number 10 role. Drop this guy deeper into midfield, like the rest of us he's been given two legs so he can do some running around in a midfield role. His vision is the only option you have at the minute. Teams are stifling O'Neill's plan A, which is get the ball to Johnson, often sticking more than one defender on him because he's more than capable of beating just the one. Sessegnon for me would be far more useful in central midfield, as a play maker. Can he tackle? who cares, you've got a fair amount of players capable of digging in.

Larsson, Johnson, McClean and Sessegnon all like to attack and run with the ball. If I'm O'Neill I'm dropping McClean, getting Larsson on the right, Johnson (a left footer!) on the left and giving Sessegnon a free role in midfield. Get back to basics, Larsson and Johnson are there predominantly to supply Fletcher. There's one reason only that Johnson plays on the right and that's because he likes to cut in and score himself, when you're struggling for goals you get back to basics and forget personal glory.

Johnson, for the purpose of this task, you're no longer a two footed player, use your left foot to put that ball into our strikers. Or am I just naive?
