Sisu, Rafa is a journeyman. in the past 5 years since he took some time out, went to Inter, his reputation has gone right down south. He hasn't exactly lit up the Italian League despite it being a very weak league (supposedly) and having had a higher spend than all the teams around him. Right now he's sitting in 4th this year, out of the champions league spots. He's not been atrocious, but he hasn't been good either. Will any big clubs approach him? probably not. He will still be able to get jobs at middling clubs but i think unless he rebuilds his reputation, he will be stuck in the wilderness. He did a phenomenal job with Valencia and he i actually think he was pretty successful with Liverpool til it went sour. Why is that? a lot of people attribute that to Pako, or it could be having been sacked from Liverpool and from a few gigs his confidence has never recovered or maybe hes just too long in the truth and is to stubborn to adapt to modern football. Klopp on the otherhand, got to leave on his own terms and has had 1 off season in 5. He is at the place where Rafa was when he left Valencia, highly sort after. Not just because he wont he trophies with a middling club (were valenca top 4 when rafa took over?) but because he did it with an attacking style and with hardly any money.
Sisu's only defending his honour as he doesn't like the thought of St Rafa being seen as an easy lay please log in to view this image
Shouldn't you wait until his next job is confirmed before using it to pad his job statistics by 25%? And shouldn't you then also wait until that job ends since if he's there 5 years it can't count towards his journeyman status? Otherwise pretty much everyone is a journeyman if at some point they change job and so have 2 jobs in 2 days/weeks
