Exactly. The man who moaned about having no money to spend (and actually wasted a fortune) won't have any if he comes back and let's look at exactly how he did when we were skint...he was ****e.

Second point...this is the man who spat his dummy out of the pram when someone else decided to buy a player he didn't want and now he's managing Chelsea. I wonder if he'll be so quick to front Abramovich when it happens.

Third point...he completely failed to fully understand the nature of English football, failed to win a league despite having much more solid foundations than Rodgers has had to deal with and a whole heap of cash (at the beginning) to build a team with.

Finally...Rafa was great at the time but he had none of the issues to deal with that BR has had so any comparison is frankly ridiculous and way out of order IMO. Rodgers has made mistakes and in the long run may not be the man but take off the farcical rafa tinted glasses and give the guy a ****ing break.

 

I can add 50 to it.

 

It's funny how you can amost tell which are the older fans and which ae the younger fans by the commentsthey make.

Btw, what happened with Rafa and Gerrard/Carra? In both books they talk about how Rafa made them much much better players but they wouldn't be having lunch with him anytime soon? Was it some decisions, fighting with the club/board?

Tough one.

One half of me says its silly to be judging a man who has only been here 20 minutes.

But, you have to look at whether you can see us under him becoming a serious force again.

And for that part i'm not too sure.

I will hang on until the end of the season. Rafa is obviously miles better, but it doesn't mean Rodgers can't get better, or that Rafa would come back.

One thing that annoys me with Rodgers is I don't feel he's honest. He talks a lot of bull**** when in reality id much prefer him tell it as it is.

Its hard to work out and judge the man because he is so PR savy.

 

I don't miss the lack of emotion on the touchline I know that much and goatees are definitely an issue as well
