I think Roy Hodgson was the best thing that happened to Liverpool. He was vital for the future success of the club was doing the best job he could with the players he had (No offence to Liverpool Players - Konchesky). Roy had already brought Liverpool out of the relegation zone (it's not important that he put them there in the first place - point is, Liverpool were making a great comeback).
Sacking him was unfair - just as he restored the confidence of the players, they replaced him and some other guy took all the credit.
Roy Hodgson, along with the amazing Fernando Torres should both be at Liverpool. Being a "Fernando", he was always going to be special. Other legendary Fernando's (like Fernando Alonso) have proved that they are the most complete in their sport.
Roy could have kept the great Torres in the club and led Liverpool back to glory.
There is great risk when bringing in a manager mid way through the season - the instability meant that Liverpool under new management took just 2 minutes to concede a goal - this would not have happened with our Roy Hodgson MBE.
