You got to love them deluded idiots up the road.
They committed twice the fouls yet it's us who play ugly.
All that happened on Sunday was we proved their hard man is a cheat and a pussy. Pardew lied on camera. And with eleven men we made them look very poor in their lopsided shed.
Bring on the Merseyside double and let them console themselves that they had a few chances at home, with a numerical advantage. Big deal.

You committed 15 fouls to our 14 according to Sky sports mate.

I really just find it funny that Sunderland supporters, and even Martin O'Neill, speak like their players wouldn't do exactly the same thing if they were whacked in the face. Everyone would drop like a sack of **** to make sure that the opposition player got sent off, and we all know it.

I don't remember this attitude from you when Meyler actually got caught my Huth's tackle

But where have I said anything about Meyler's reaction?

I don't think it was a red, but I don't really blame Meyler for playing on it, as virtually any PL player would do the same. Regardless of whether Huth's tackle had malicious intent or was considered dangerous, if it hurt it hurt.

Mind you, tackles are often subjective, whereas violent conduct is usually a lot more straightforward. There's a difference between a player attempting to avoid a sliding tackle and elbowing another player in the mush on purpose.

not me, but can only speak for myself. but, wtf, will try and speak for others anyway: McClean, no. Sessegnon, no. O'Shea, no. Bardsley, no. Catts, no. Bendtner, maybe, but he's Arsenal property.

you get the point. i'm not as willing to take Tiote off the hook as you.

McClean: Yes
Sessegnon: Yes
O'Shea: Yes
Bardsley: Yes
Cattermole: Yes
Bendtner: Yes

Get real man, of course they would. Any player would. Picture the scene: you're on the pitch in a high-intensity situation and quite frankly, at the time, couldn't give two ****s about what any fans think which you're never going to meet in your life. An opposition player decides to elbow you right in the face on purpose, and getting the player sent off not only gives you revenge for being hit, but it also gives your team a huge competitive advantage in the game.

Every player on the planet is going to play act and drop like a sack of turd to ensure that the opposition player gets rightfully sent off for violent conduct. Some players would choose not to play act if they got accidentally hit and KNEW they got accidentally hit, but if it's obvious you've just been belted on purpose in the face, you're going to make a meal out of it.

Tiote yes, Catts, no.

I admit he hit the the floor late and obviously played up to it. Cant really deny that. But he deserved to be sent off so him hitting the deck like that wouldnt have changed what was a correct red card.

nobody arguing that.

It's just happened on the Mag board to someone (not me... at least not last time I looked). It wasn't even an offensive post it was a wind up but not remotely offensive it was something like "Pardew's touchline antics - on CBBC"

Here's how I feel the Mags operate;

Don't confuse them man

Marti's little implosion after one derby is top notch. Can this get better?

<Goodisonhumiliation>

So whats the big deal then? Cattermole dived about 10minutes into the game if i recall correctly but no one is mentioning he should have received a second yellow.

The big deal is how your lot portray Tiote as the ultimate hard man. He proved he isn't, that's all.

I see! Well ill stop editing my Chuck Norris jokes into Tiotes ones from now on then and will have to find a new hobby. Although, if as you all say he was acting, then he cant be disregarded as hard until he takes a blow without acting? True? Might get back to the editing.

not sure what all that means.

what I do know is Tiote looked and acted like the Ultimate Girly Man.
