Getting withdrawal symptoms here. Watching England, even the bewildering experience of watching a genuinely entertaining England side for once, could only go so far to ease my cold turkey.
Never will this be 2-0. If we are to take all three, it will be the most painful of one goal in it experiences ever. For sure.
Anyone want to take my mrs shopping Saturday afternoon so I can go to the pub etc... I offer pretty decent rates and open to negotiations. Any enquiries welcome or apply below...
Wife swap perhaps? The only problem is when they both realise they have been dumped and we've scarpered off to the footy they'll be hell to pay!
I'm a bit meh about it all tbh, don't think I'll make any more games this season and having decided against a ST next season I don't know when I'll next be going so it's just waiting for the season to play out now before the Nations League.
What? Things are just about to get good! Remember Claude, Pellgrin-no-points, and Mark, well this is the pay day coming right up!
I think the opposite, think if we win it will be (relatively) comfortable but my prediction is a draw.
We tend to do well after a break and with Brighton having a cup match last week and a semi to look forward to I think there's potential for a good win there.
I hope you are right. I don't feel up for the fight! But seriously, things are going to be very tough for us this summer, and we need the likes of you keeping your enthusiasm.
We probably need to win to finish above them, which is worth 2 million to us, and minus 2 million to them. Then Newcastle would be catchable if we could win there, but that's probably a bit too far. (it's obviously going to be a draw though)
It wasn't that long ago we beat Arsenal and a lot of posters got ahead of themselves. It concerns me that people are already getting so blasé before this game. This is going to be a slog. We are far from out of the woods, but I'd suggest we are on the right path.
Break 1 - beat Palace (a) going into it and drew with Brighton (h) on return Break 2: lost to Chelsea (h) going into it and drew at Bournemouth (a) on return Break 3: Drew Watford (h) going in and lost to Fulham (a) on return We also had an enforced cup break Break 4: lost to Cardiff (h) going in and lost to Arsenal (a) on return So not that impressive. Never won on return and only the Bournemouth game produced anything nearing an acceptable performance. Still, it has to change sometime...
