We just don’t have any one who can make a killer pass through the middle. No one even tries. It’s always just down the sides. Easy to defend against.
And thankfully in the past few weeks, we're starting to get FKs again. Felt like we never got one in the first half of the season. Maybe defenders began to forget.
I’m struggling to think of a game when Lyanco was poor. A bit rusty in the first couple as he got used to premier league but looks a leader to me.
Yeah, so far I've liked what I've seen. But I do get the feeling that his style of defending is more suited to playing as part of a three, rather than a two. I might be wrong. David Luiz was a completely different defender when part of a three vs part of a two.
It's a bit early in his Saints career to do a van Dijk in order to leave. He must be just playing crap.
We love to drop points from winning positions. Brighton love to find a way to draw a match. Both could yet happen (the latter twice). (Although both of us have been off form in recent weeks in doing those things, for different reasons.)
