You do realise that if we win, you’ll have to change it before the Crystal Palace game and then back again on the day of the match.
Just read something on the ugly which I didn't know anything about and explains a couple of incidents v Burnley Apparently (he says) the new ruling is that when there's a head injury that stops play there is an uncontested drop ball for the team suffering the injury Hence from two corners where we were in an attacking situation, on the edge of the box and in posession, a Burnley player goes down holding his head and play is stopped and the ball given to Pope from where he kicks it forward to set up a Burnley attack As these followed corners where there's a mosh pit of players involved the ref has no way of telling if this is a legitimate injury or not If this is true then its crazy and opens the door for every team to adopt this cheat Any comment Tom? (Not easy to find this as any google takes you to old articles or new ones on ineffective concussion protocols)
Looking at the weather and the fact that they are in Brighton**, which one do you think? **Though living in Poole I cannot understand how anyone would go to that awful pebbled beach
How about A Armstrong and Tella...? Behind a front two of Broja and Adams they would cause absolute mayhem around the edge of the area.
I love Shane. A large part of me doesn't want him to leave this summer. But unless something changes on that front, he will be (and understandably so) - in which case he should never be starting ahead of Adam Armstrong.
I really cannot understand why Shane is starting games. That's just bad management (of people and of a not insignificant asset the club has invested in).
Starting a 35(?) year old player who surely is leaving in a couple of months over a £15m 25 year old in a meaningless game shows just how much is thought of of the 25 year old I’d suggest. He will be off out on loan in the summer
Yes. According to a mate this tactic is one of Sean Dyche’s “dark arts “ which obviously lives on as a tactic following his departure. Shocking rule open to complete abuse
I suspect you're right, but it's still bad management. Why on Earth would you not just throw him a bunch of dead rubbers to either find his rhythm or tighten the noose? Shane might be retired this time next month.
We don't know what goes on behind the scenes. For all we know Ralph has taken Adam to one side and said just focus on getting up to speed with the tactics he uses this season and he'll get more chances next season.
